Very nice mission Niborius - congratulations on the release! Exploring was great and kept me well entertained - although I sooo wanted to find a rope arrow to get up to some ledges and beams (don't know if I missed one). Looking forward to the next release.

The wine bottle can be found (at least on easiest difficulty level) in one of the towers which can be opened with the tower key. To get there, one can first head for the church, which lies beyond the river next to the house in which the mission starts. Standing before the church's main portal and looking away from the church, the player should take the rightmost way through the houses before the church. A while along the path, one will notice a city wall on the right side, and in this wall there are some watch towers. The middle of the three has a wooden door which can be opened with the tower key. Inside, there's a large opened crate with some stuff in it, including a golden bottle which turns out to be the wine needed to fulfil the appropriate goal.

I am in a building with lots of bookshelves and a George Rigas' office where I should find a key but I can't find any switch for the secret compartment and outside the office is a bookshelf that has a carved hole for a book to be placed in or for a book switch that is missing... I d/loaded the version from OneDrive.

Well, I now know that mr. Rigas had some work done after his last journal entry but I still can't find anything in the compartment except for another button which I know not what it opens..

i got a question about ending was the mystery the stuff floating in that room? with that ball of light ,also liked the fact it showed the start of next mission at end over that gate and water

but a few more npcs=regular town folks placed around city would have been a nice touch

Maybe not in this case. The mission briefing stated that no citizen was allowed outside at night, if I remember that correctly. The first post in this thread does it, too. Finding everyone at home at night is logical then.

Great mission! From a design aspect I have just one suggestion-when you have a lot of gardens, that's a great place to stash things like carrots, healing fruits, moss crystals etc.

Thank you for the mission Niborius, I'm looking forward to part 2. I played on Expert. I too found the voice-over at the intro very quiet compared to the in-game sounds, and the absence of text onscreen could make it difficult for hard-of-hearing players to follow what is being said. Some places (church lobby, a balcony here and there) seemed to suggest rope arrows would have been useful. Otherwise, great!

Not a big deal, since most players might not be interested in swimming there, and it won't break the mission either.

From the docks, if you head to the rocks in the far right corner, you can swim out of the map!

    Looking forward to Part 2.

That was fun; Lots of places to explore. Would've liked to get up to some of those balconies too.
Loved the bit where I got locked in the warehouse with the spiders!
Nice (eastern-European?) music, but OMG, the bells, the bells!!!

Thank you for the kind words everyone. I read every single post

I'm super glad that so far everyone who posted in this thread has enjoyed it a lot, and I appreciate the feedback which can help me with my future missions.

@Frobbin hood: Just before I released it I checked to see if the player still couldn't swim out of the map, and I couldnt (because I added a flow effect to the water). Is the water still in the release version? If so then that is a weird Dromed bug that happened during the latest build.

I also agree that perhaps the bells are perhaps slightly too loud when you are close to them, but in real life they would be even louder. I tried to make it realistic while at the same time not TOO realistic/loud, but I still overdid it a bit.

The water in the channel leading "out" is still flowing towards the player at the end of the channel. The problem is that the player can swim through one of the steep rock walls. It is the one on the left. Swim towards the line where the flowing water does not allow you to proceed any further, then let Scorpio swim a little bit to the left while still swimming against the flow. The player will then slowly slide sideways, reach the rock wall to the left, and then fall or swim through it. After that, the player is "behind the scenes", so to speak, and can even swim to the edge of the water and fall onto a beach with the water towering above, and the black eternity of the universe on the opposite side of the rock walls. Quite a sight, although very weird.

The bells did not bother me. And yes, they would be ear splitting in real life. I just turn down the sound a bit during that part of play. Itís not a big deal.

Iíve got a lot going on in the personal world, so I have only played about 20 minutes into the mission. Iím looking forward to hear myself act.

I havenít gotten to my VO part yet and I am not sure if it is featured in this one. I need to look at the zip file to see. I'm curious which accent version you used for the husband requesting help. I sent you 2 versions. I was more happy with the semi-Spanish ďmost interesting man on EarthĒ voice over my natural style. However, even my plain natural voice was a bit dramatized for effect - sort of Captan James T Kirk. Itís fun to do game voices, because one can be a little silly and have some fun with the character. I hope it worked out. Iíll hear it soon enough when I get a chance to play again. So much going on right now. A busy time.

If you need another recording for additional missions, just ping me via PM and I will get you a couple of takes pretty quickly.

Thanks for the new FM, so far itís fun.
