Strangeblue & Hanse can all be found on Facebook under their RL names. Don't know about the others. Try TTLG Nuthaus on FB; lots of old TTLG friends are there, too. Don't know about the others you mentioned.

You can search by username and often get an idea. IIRC (and that's by very old memory) Buglunch and Sailoreagle were banned at some point for harassing and it was either a permaban or they never came back. I don't know what happened to any of them IRL except for the two Dia mentioned for the same reason that they're on FB.

In another thread didn't someone say that Sailoreagle and another Nuthaus member got married.

I liked Buglunch's tripped out posts. Fleen!

    Thanks Med. Thanks all.

Strangeblue is a successful author and famous for her Greywalker series of urban fantasy. It's worth noting one of her first writing stints was for T2X. Not saying TTLG should take any credit lol -- I'm sure she would have done it on her own all the same -- but it's still kind of cool.

Actually that reminds me about something upcoming with Hanse too, but maybe that's not public info yet... so uh, forget I said anything? Well you could ask her about it. I'm not good with cats in bags.

I remember him and I think I found him on FB, but haven't had the occasion to contact that person to see if he really is Sombras. I don't like bothering people.

I found ZB on FB and tried to get him into the Nuthaus and that flopped. And I was about 75% sure I found Kfort, one of my favorite FM authors, but she never replied so now I'm not sure. And Gaetane, probably my favorite FM author full-stop -- maybe second only to Rowena -- rejected my friend request outright, which was kind of more depressing than I expected it to be.

Since those kinds of experiences early on I kind of don't poke around people and am just happy if they open up to me first, which happily has still happened for a good number of us.

I remember Sombras patting the pud and contributing to this place. He went through a tragic time a few years back so maybe this place became part of that time.

buglunch's posts got increasingly abstract, nonsensical and always off-topic. I believe he ended up getting banned. A shame. Too rare to die, too weird to be allowed to keep posting here. :/

Honestly, I'd have been disappointed if it hadn't.

I communicated with buglunch for a little while after he got banned, but I guess that was like 10 years ago. At that time he was living on Vancouver Island with his partner. He sent me a CD-ROM with a program on how to identify wild mushrooms, and I helped make sure a Yamaha DX-7 he bought from an Edmonton shop was delivered to the right place (although when I called the shop to confirm, I got the impression that the employees there had been having an annoying time dealing with buglunch too).

At the time he was banned, people around here were pretty pissed off at him, but I always wished he could’ve stuck around.

I always liked buglunch. His weird posts were a plus to me. They were totally self indulgent and very nearly a puzzle to figure out. I didn't mind. He did seem to go down sharply from his first posts to his last but I was happy to interact anyway. Be nice if he showed up and let us know he is doing okay and maybe didn't wage war on his local McDonalds after all.
