    2 Q's- elevator button - - making arrows stick-

1- I made an elevator with multiple floors but the buttons have a Jorgish texture on them, how do I put numbers there?

2- I'm trying to make a rope arrow stick to a metal object, any ideas?
(I tried - terrain:attach rope [on the metal object]. didn't work)

I work in D2: you can type in the command window: add_family buttons

This will give you some button textures to work with.

This should work, but if your buttons are objects, then it might take something else to make it work. You can add textures to brushes fairly easily; I don't know much about changing objects' properties, yet.

I don't know the answer to your #2 question. Sorry.

Okay, I figured out how to make your buttons have numbers on them, but only in Dromed2. You have to use the button 'NumberButton' for this to work.

Add the property 'Shape> TxtRepl r0', and set it to obj\txt\button#. However, make SURE it says 'txt' instead of 'txt16', or you'll get a garbled jorgeish texture on the button. Anyway, just replace the # with the number you want on the button, and it should work...

I dont know the answer to your second question though.

    Thanx Deep Shadow,
I am using D2 and the buttons have txt16 on them initially. WHY???
I don't know. Mysteries of the Dromed universe. Thanx again!
