    Stiff Competition Contest 2 Mission

I seem to have opened every door in the place except for a little door under the staircase that won't open with neither the lockpicks nor the blue key. Have I missed something somewhere? Thanks for any help!

    Spoiler:
There is a little door in the end of a bookcase upstairs. Pick it open and you'll find the key you need.

I used the key from the bookcase location and got the first set of documents, then I got the red/gold key from its special location but I'm drawing a blank as to its destination. I don't want to seem like a lame-ass. I have been searching and destroying stuff like all the mirrors in the place but I can't find the place to use the red/gold key. Thanks again.

Sexypat - There are no people on Expert, either. I think the point of this mission is just to search for hidden stuff. I found the notes, etc. rather entertaining.

snuka - I don't remember the red/gold key. I'll have a look and get back to you.

snuka - If the red/gold key you mean was the one you found
    Spoiler:
in the side of the fireplace
    , then go into
    Spoiler:
bathroom, open the cupboard on the right hand side of the tub, go right to the back and it opens the door on the left.

Great info everyone but I opened the door under the stairs and nothing was in it. I also am missing one objective. No Viagra. LOL [Wot?]

I'm pretty sure it was in there, just in an awkward to reach position. Try leaning and looking around inside the door.

Hi, Hawklette! Ekim's right, it should be in there. Did you enjoy this one? I thought the humour in it was very well done.

Yes, I liked it but some of the others are giving me grief. I was very impressed with the look of the cabin and all. Thanks for the help. [Angel]

I have found every secret door. But the Viagra Formulas, the Sales Fígures and the Marketing Procedures are still missing! Where are them?

    Thank

Location: The zip should tell you.
If I remember right (not an odds-on favorite) there is a
    spoiler:
secret compartment in one of the linen closets in the bathroom (a flare may help) and one under the stair case that I was able to get the contents of without actually opening, or you can bash it in.

Now that this thread has been re-opened .... I was wondering - why would anyone play this mission on any difficulty other than "Hard"?
I told my husband that I was downloading the patch for Thief. He said, "Good! It's about time you kicked that addiction."

    Viagra Formula's -
    spoiler:
Pick open little door in the side of the bookcase upstairs to get a key. Use it to unlock the cupboard under the stairs downstairs and get the formula.

    Copy of Viagra Forumula -
    spoiler:
Little door in bathroom cupboard. Unlocks with key found in behind door in side of the fireplace.

All the rest of the documents -
    spoiler:
In a small cupboard inside the bedroom wardrobe that unlocks with a blue key, found in the small, locked cupboard in the kitchen.

    Stiff Competition - nice hideway

That log house sure don't look like the one I was raised in. Very tastily done.

I wanted to go spend my vacation there, after I'd played it! The details of the cabin are beautifully done and it seems very real.

    Stiff Competition

Hey, I just wanted to say, I really enjoyed the visuals in this mission by Keepress.

I have a question, is the author currently working on anything else? I went up to Thiefmissions however I didn't see anything else the author was doing. I mean sure the story is quick and humorous however it was just a small little mission and I would love to see what this author can do in a full-scale attempt.

I agree , Stiff Competition was a nifty little mission .

If I'm not mistaken, Keepress is Komag's wife, and she isn't... shall we say... a regular thief mapper? If anything at all, perhaps she'll make a mission for the next Kontest, but only Komag really knows.

    All in theory.

Keepress has a cool mansion project that is a couple years in the works, but even I can't say whether anyone will ever play the thing - it IS gorgeous though

    That's awesome!

When I played that mission, I knew that someone who could design like that had to continue (even though the date looked a little old).

    I hope it gets released.
