site best viewed at 800x600 resolution.

No sane person would be using 800x600... Even a 14" screen supports 1024x768...
Besides the thieves guide is VERY hard to read since it's black text and a darkgreen/black background

Why does your page try to make me download an EXE file every time I refresh the page?
Sorry, but pages that put strange EXE files on my PC, I don't bother going to.

That is truly one of the most hideous looking webpages I've seen... not to sound too negative or anything.

    No sane person would even think about using 1024x768 resolution on a 14". A 15" is ok, but a 14"? Nah . . .

I have no Idea. It's just a simple text and pic page with some midi's. I didn't try to make it fancy I was just trying to put a in depth guide from my experience with thievery. Also DarkProject it's Final Fantasy 7 music and from a game Darkness Falls which was a Mud. Non from Zelda: Link to the Past. Though it's similiar hehe.

Unstopable, no offense, but your webpage hurts my eyes. Here are a few tips:

    • On the 1st page, try align=left or align=right inside your IMG tag so that text wraps around the pictures you put in there, instead of the picture taking up a whole line to itself.
    • 1st & 2nd page backgrounds are annoying. If you must use it, scale the image 200% so it doesn't tile readily. That's 4x JPEG filesize, tho, so you may want to see how large it is when it is GIF. Use "nearest neighbor resampling if you're to use GIF.
    • Difficult to read text on page 2 & 3 due to busy backgrounds. Page 1 background is the right direction.
    • Music doesn't play on my browser, but if you have music, I'd suggest removing it. MIDI only goes so far with quality, and more often, it scares people with the sudden volume or gets people at work in trouble when their boss hears dinky music coming from a worker's cubicle. People being prompted to download stuff is probably resultant of this embeded music, also.
    • For yer links, don't forget the ThieveryUT Forum and maybe all the links found on the Thievery webring (great link resource, that is).

I think if you take those tips to heart, you won't scare away as many visitors. Website content is the bottom line, but nobody will read it if the look & feel of the site is offensive. Good luck, and thanks for the resource. I read most of it and it is good.

    great job.
But it's pretty biased with thieves who KO.
Oh and it's not really believable either when you say trying to KO
is not good for a thief and then you tell a guard that his worst enemys are those who KO.
But I know what you mean.

Ok I fixed some stuff. I made it with Front Page express. Don't like Html too long to make something good.

I think this wraps it up quite nicely. :<strike>crackles</strike> cackles maniacally too:

A site made in Front Page isn't bound to work. I'm not sure if it uses what most people would really call HTML or anything standard. But, on that note, if I don't like it I don't have to use it or go to sites blatantly made in it so I won't.

I couldn't even read the front page without getting eye strain, so I closed the Opera tab and came back here. Ahhh.
