Oh I'm not really mad, I'm sitting here laughing my head off after the initial open-mouthed shock! It's sort of like an outrageous joke

I should have used emoticons more carefully in the first place to make it clear that I wasn't really cross. The eternal problem of communicating on the internet where you can't see people's expression or hear tones of voice!

    And look-lucky seven pages!

Yes, the very same problem happened much earlier on this thread, and it also coincided with several days of ttlg going belly-up, so I was left agonizing over whether I might have upset anyone.
Fortunately, we all appear to be equally broad- and filthy- minded.

    You off somewhere, ceebs?

Anyway, clearly I meant "cracking the whip" metaphorically. As in, administering harsh discipline and......oh heck, better stop right there God help me, I sound just like Forsythe!

    ceebs: LOL

I guess this is where I'm supposed to step in brandishing all manner of disciplinary divices. Or something. By the sounds of it, it would only serve to encourage this sort of behaviour...

    In that case...

/me marches in with a whip, hand cuffs and a cattle prod.

Hold on, I thought you wanted to be chastised.....or did you just lose your nerve at the last second, like me?

My apologies, I sort of thought you were enjoying yourself!
OK then *whacks ceebs in the head with a shovel (it's always a shovel isn't it) and cuts through Ania's bonds*

Sorry ceebs. You'll be fine in the morning

Thanks, darling. I know you only did this to get me to email Forsythe, but thanks, anyway.

*snarls at Ceebs's lifeless carcass, muttering dark threats and insults to interlopers*

Now that he's taken care of, the world is ours! mwahahahaha!
