Great news indeed. Though I've never been much for fan missions, time just hasn't allowed it since I first got the games, This year of school should be realitively light on the homework and I'll have plenty of time to see the greatness of the fans' work. Maybe make a level of my own provided this isn't like the hellish Dromed. *Sigh* So many missions, so little time.

Let's raise a toast to dear Duran, who slaves away as best he can; on your behalf his work began: I say to you that's one swell man.

Excited as I am, and Glas will tell you that I am the eternal optimist to his pessimist, we must remember that Null has explicitly stated that this is not a certainty.
Although I would love to believe that it was, and that this means that they are as good as going to release it (back covering yadda yadda), we shouldn't jump to conclusions. Then again I may be being overly cautious because I'm hate disappointment. And knowing the timeframe these guys work too we won't know for some time - remember the gap between AI bug discovery and the patch?

Then again, perhaps it will be in the post after this one

    Here's to hoping.

    Not quite

Great news, Null (and while you're here, excellent job on Shalebridge Cradle!)

    Yeeeesss! Finaly!!

However.. how will we be able to load the missions? We don't have any Darkloader program for T3 eh? Or can you load a mission from the editor?

    Cheers,

Well. Looks like I might have a reason to upgrade my video card and purchase Thief III after all.

    This is great news!

Originally, I doubted that the editor ever would be released, now there's at least a chance! Thanks ION för keeping the Thief universe alive!

I wonder why it is not in "Top News" (just in "Thief News") column on TTLG Even CNN didn't publish anything about this

I'm sure that "Thief FMs > 50% of Thief Series" (let me be so brief). Therefore, editor is more expected for me than even some new Thief Series game.

Whaaa, Dromed is just fine and dandy, my good man. If DeadlyEd or whatever is simpler it might mean less features. And I want my act/react&conversations dammit.

Now maybe we'll find out exactly why swimmable water and rope arrows were a problem. Unless the real reason was because they were considered by many to be overdone, so they just didn't develop it.

Even if we don't actually see the editor, the fact that the developers want to put one out is cool.

What's this one going to be called? ShadEd?

    TEd seems appropriate.

Thanks null, Alex, and whoever else is putting in these shifts. Ladies and gentlemen, we officially have a reason to be hopeful...
