    Or something like that, anyways.

As a treat... I decided to make some adjustments in my mod. I spent more time in Soundforge than I usually do, and I even got around to updating the Laser Pistol! It sounds kind of... Star Wars-ish. I dunno, you tell me.

    Grab it here

    Hopefully that link works.

And for those of us who have absolutely no idea what this mod is about...?

Given the context, it appears to be a "new weapon sounds" mod...

Was I gone for that long?

    Yeah. It's a sounds upgrade.

Are the bullet sounds short enough that they don't cut out during automatic weapons fire? I had that problem with the last sound pack I downloaded. Had to go in and manually chop the lengths down.

The AP bullet sound is the only one that cuts off after about 4 shots when you use full auto. I tested the others and they're short enough

People here don't generally use ARs on auto anyway. Sounds good, I'll have to download at some point.

That's not really the point. If you're going to release a mod, it should work properly, not "mostly properly".

EDIT: In any case, the ZIP appears to be corrupt. I can't open it in WinZIP or WinRAR.

Once again IZArc proves it's (free) superiority and opens the original zip-file as easily as the rar.
