Hmmm. Does anyone know of a spell checker which can check the spelling on a web-site? I discovered I actually hadn't cleared up all of the missing apostrophies throughout the walkthrough, Tripod deleted them all, and I know I won't catch all of them myself just by reading it over. Obviously, up to here anyways, I haven't even noticed.

Just thought it was worth mentioning, I shuffled the walkthrough around a little bit today, was bored and wanted to stop accidently uploading Deus Ex stuff into the SS2 directory. The http://tnt.freylia.net URL will still take you where you can get to the SS2 walkthrough, though.

Also, I was *extremely* bored, so I got together some odd screenshots I've taken over the months I've owned my laptop and slapped them on their own little page. If you don't mind waiting for 1 megabyte worth of screenies, (there's 16 of them all together) then you can get them here.

If something's not acting quite right, let me know. But either way, I'm going to try to leave y'all in peace and get some sleep . . .

Edit: whoops, almost forgot. Kind of ironic you posted the lefties wrench icon first, Kolya, just so happens one of the more infamous wrenchers is a leftie. You won't mind if I throw it on my site, right?

Go ahead, it's yours. I made it for you anyways.
I like the pics with the bunch of rumblers coming at you...they look like evil kids from the neighborhood who found a new toy to play with...so happy!

If you're desperate to check the spelling, why not copy+paste the text into word?

Or even just open the .html files in word? I think it supports that format... (which is basically just text)

I had to resort to copy and pasting everything into word, it was bloody annoying because it insisted on downloading all the screenies and there was no way to stop it. I got it done eventually, though.

@Kolya: they don't look like the evil kids in the neighborhood, they look about as sweet and friendly and likeable as my father. I'll maintain until the day I die that the rumblers were inspired after someone saw him and thought he'd make a great monster for a computer game. Took great pleasure in killing all of them.

Hey, it's not your fault. It was only after I finished spell-checking the walkthroughs that had screenies that it occured to me I could simply highlight the text between the screenies, rather than the whole thing all at one. And I was the one who resized them and worked on taming the file sizes, too. I probably should've make them a bit smaller.

Just in case anyone's curious to see them, Enchantermon's screenshots for Rec deck are online. Would've said something sooner, but I was having 'issues' with the way I was converting the pictures. They looked like shit, especially compared to the originals, .JPG blocks were everywhere, and my image quality standards wouldn't let me rest until they were met.

The Rec deck walkthrough is here for those who just want to jump right to the new material.

Let's just say my Deus Ex walkthrough has been . . . indefinitely halted. Until I get my laptop repaired, which I'm nowhere near ready to do, I'm not going to put it under the strain of running Deus Ex, so yeah. I do get walkthrough writing urges out of nowhere, though, (and judging by my track record, roughly every 3 months or so) so when it next comes up, the rest of Deus Ex is next in line.

Your walkthrough is nothing short of hilarious, esp with the pics!
Gotta love the guy's 'coming out' with that sign above his head... I also wondered how had died when I first saw him. Finally I came to the conclusion that he had probably broken the sim unit in a frantic and then tried to blow himself off and broke his neck.
    Other funnies:
The first room you get to will have *a bottle of bubbly,* and an egg in it.
Must have been one hell of a party!
btw I guess that Tommy Suarez was the one who wrote "Muerte" on the wall. I think he's Spanish.
Anyway, really good job by the WRRRNCH-fraction!
You're sort of System Shock's hammerites!

Thanks Kolya! I can't take hardly any credit for the screenshots, Enchantermon is the one who took them, made the captions, etc.

I just about died laughing when I read that I'm like System Shock's version of Hammerites. The thing is, I'm not sure I'm exactly a Hammerite, anymore. Maybe in my past life. I'm more of a haunt than anything else now, I think anyone who's played Thief would probably see why. I'm always telling people to join me, join me, JOIN ME NOW, and when it comes to fighting, I'm quick, and I make sure my foes' intestines are on the floor within a few seconds of me being near him.

*kicks thread in the ass to bring it back to the top again*

Well, here I am again, bumping the thread, means it's screenie time! Enchantermon sent me the Ops deck screenies, you can check them out here. I shuffled around the info on how to prepare for each of the decks, too, they're on the strategies page now. There may still be loose ends hanging around, I'm pretty tired and I probably missed something, so give me a heads up if you see anything amiss.

    And, yeah. Enjoy!

    Well.....
This may have been intentional, but on the Strategies page, everything after the words "Preparing for the Chaos" is formatted like the text that splits up the sections of that page.

Only one deck, one squishy part, and one nostalgic level left!

Yup, it's funny how much better the walkthrough turned out once pretty pictures were added.

Just checked over the layout again, I don't see anything I didn't want to happen, then again, I may just be too sleepy to see the problem.

What about the Rickenbacker? Yup, we're almost there, I can't wait to see the rest of the screenies. Although, god forbid, how am I going to find anything to add to the walkthrough once it has all the screenies?

It involves a game other than SS2.

    Here:

    <p><center><h2><a name="prep">Preparing for the Chaos</a></h2</center>

The closing h2 tag isn't complete. I guess you must be using Firefox, the error does not appear there, only Opera and IE.

It's not hard to figure out. Just take the machine away from a Greek drama.

D'oh! Normally I use Opera to view the pages when I'm editting them, but this time around I used Firefox. Oh well, not quite as bad as the time when I tried to do HTML coding when I was overtired and almost drunk and forgot a quote mark in one of the links, which resulted in nearly half of my walkthrough disappearing.

Hopefully not too much left. Are you thinking of taking screenies for all of the black eggs on the Rickenbacker? Or only a few?

I don't know anything about Greek dramas, but I know what you mean now. (I thought for a moment Ajare was referring to the SS1 walkthrough type thing.) Man, I'm really not looking forward to restarting the DX walkthrough. I may have to use the fact that my laptop isn't completely repaired and possibly not up to the challenge for an excuse to stall a little longer.

Yes, yes, we all hate Paris. She really doesn't deserve all the attention she's getting. Who would name their daughter after a hotel?

Just imagine all the bad guys are Paris Hilton, and you'll do fine.

I'm not sure I get this. Are you referring to DEM's roots, or did you think the phrase itself was Greek?

Amusing/confusing note: in Greek legend, Paris is a guy, of course.
