    Loot List

    spoiler:
    Main Hall: Mech Statue
Dormitory Hall: Candlestick and Mech Statue
    Domitory: Three Stacks of Coins
Chapel: Collection plate behind podium and coins in between pews on left near the front when you enter
    Crypt: Four goblets
Dining Room: Bottle, goblet, plate and two candles
Kitchen: Two plates, some goblets and a bottle
    Workshop: Four masks

I think that's all of it.

This is a very nice little "snack-sized" mission. I missed the coins on the chapel floor so I was glad you posted the loot list.

I love the title. I'll download it as soon as I get home.

Sorry, but how do I get into
    spoiler:

I have the very same question.

    So far, ok mission.

    7/10

    Pros
    -It's a mechanist FM
-Space is better utilized, unlike The Mechanist Cathedral

    Cons
    -Annoying malfunctioning exit objective
    -Key hunt, Coin hunt mission

Keys: Check underneath the table at the far end of the dormitory for the Chapel key. You'll find the crypt key in the Chapel.

You've come up trumps again Nightwalker.

    Many thanks.

I myself knew that the key hunt and coin hunt would be the most challanging aspects of the mission.
    spoiler:
The Chapel key was origionally supposed to be on top of the table but when I went ingame I discovered that it was under the table. I liked it so much I decided to keep it there and then promptly added a scroll asking if anyone has seen the spare Chapel key. I relised that I didn't have enough loot for my main objective and so I added the coins in the chapel, knowing how annoying it would be I placed it on a bit of marble where it would be seen if anyone attempted to check the pews.

As for the 'malfunctioning' exit objective I could have sorted that easily but I thought that the entrance and main hall can both count as entrance halls. My next plan is to make a sequal, in which Gearheart is converted by the Hammerites after the fall of Karras. I will extend it. I'm glad the mission was enjoyed. It was intended to be nothing more than a 'snack-sized' mission as Nightwalker so wonderfully put it.

I've gotten everything but the "collection plate behind podium;" alas, on Hard level, you must get 100% of the loot to finish.

I can't figure out how to get behind the podium without being spotted and alerting the priests... is there some lightswitch somewhere?

On a related note, what is the function of the switch in the main hall? I flipped it, but if something happened, I didn't see it.

    Thanks,

    Dafydd

    Daffydd,

Presumably you are ghosting. Don't see how you are gonna do it. Can you make a noise in the adjoining room and then hide when one of them goes to investigate.

Let me know how you do it, cause you will, you always do.

    Bronze Griffin,

Liked it a lot. That key was well hidden.
    spoiler:
Hunted high and low for it, but as it was the same colour as the table it got missed
. Nice little mission though, thanks.

Another thing I was aware of was the fact that it was immensly difficult to ghost.
    spoiler:
The gas arrow is one way to deal with the priest and priestess, but does that count as ghosting?

    Also
    spoiler:
it was frightfully naughty of me to make the key the same colour as the table, but I didn't want to make it too easy. :-)

In ghosting the AI can't even begin to start looking for you, nor can their state of being be changed.
    spoiler:
Shooting a gas arrow to KO them would be a ghost bust.

I had problems with the exit objective as well.
    spoiler:
Every time I passed through the main hall the objective would tick off, and when I left it would uncheck. This can be easily fixed by making the exit objective as Final.

Are you saying in effect that it cannot be ghosted.
    spoiler:
The two in the chapel talking are not gonna move, or is there a movement path activated when the door is unlocked

Hey, some missions just aren't ghostable. Too bad, though... except for that, I ghosted the rest of the mission!

I may give this a rest until after Saints and Thieves, or whatever it's called, then come back with fresh eyes. I suspect it's not ghostable, however... too much light in that section, and they're facing opposite directions -- so they have the whole 360 covered.

If only you didn't require 100% loot on expert (hard) to finish!

    Yay, Mechanists !

Nice little beginner mission. I did like the
    spoiler:
    Crypt's
texture scheme, it was so... modern! As it should be, right?

I was shy on loot to finish, and needed to check in here for a hint
    spoiler:
on the where-abouts of that rascally key. For the loot I was missing the two gold plates in the sink. I was too lazy to lean over or jump on the counter to check

There will be a Version 2. I will attempt to make it ghostable and sort out the objective room confusion. Don't expect it too soon though as I have University stuff to sort out first.

    Clockwork Mifune, the
    spoiler:
Crypt was one of my favourites aspects of the mission also. I came to the conclusion that the whole facility was newly built and even the Crypt should show that.

FYI for people who don't go to Thiefmissions: Versions 2 & 3 have been released. But I've only just finished the original.

    V1 Review

    Pros
    -Mech Mission
    -Better Utilized Space
    -The "Snack-Size"
    -Great Texture Choices
    -Nice Ambient Sounds
    -Difficulty

    Cons
    -Texture was a bit overused
-The barracks and vicinity had no ambient sound, which broke immersion.
-Weird sound issue in dining room
    -Difficulty (it's a Procon! >_<)
-The annoying objecive "ding!" whenever you arrive in the main hall.
-Semi-barrier in doorway leading to the watcher hallway (I was trying to lean!!)

    Rating: 6.5/10

    Off to V2....

Did you pay attention to what P Forth said beforehand about that mission?

From Readme: (sic) I was going to be a much larger mission, but due to real life stuff and other DromEd work
it would never have got finished the way I intended it, so, better to release it as a
small mission than not to release it at all,I thought.

Putting ambients into every single room doesn't sound that appealing to me for some reason.

Last Gleaming of Rising Sun had very few ambients and I thought the immersion worked just fine for me.
