Complete the saving the children objective to proceed further.

I'm also having trouble finding the
    spoiler:
code to the secret door in the game room. I found the note explaining the order of the digits, but not the code itself.

There is a scroll with the code on it

    Actually
    spoiler:
none of the keys are labeled so I might have the vault key and not know it.

    Nope it's labelled properly.

I guess that will come up later as it isn't on the list of objectives yet.

Can someone give me hint to where I can find the
    spoiler:
incriminating evidence that I need to get to sheriff Truart?

    Code:

    spoiler:
Something you pick up in the watch station can help you figure out what the numbers are.

    Vault key:

    spoiler:
Help the children escape through the sewers first.

    Evidence:

    spoiler:
Search the captain's office on the upper floor of the large warehouse carefully.

    shadows,
    spoiler:
You won't find the numbers written down anywhere, but there's another way to find out which ones are part of the combination. Have you been in the watch station?

Marvellous mission, Spitter! I finished it with 3894 loot (I had a much lower amount at first because I didn't realize the children had dropped a key on their way out).

The proper use of weather and fog (ATI card owner says: lookin' good), as well as the dark ambient sounds lend this mission a unique atmosphere. There's nicely detailed architecture outside as well as inside (love the sewers and the vault). In the streets I was constantly looking up like a tourist scouting for vistas to photograph.
    spoiler:
I also like the way one has to discover the game room combination and the frobbable "follow me!" children. I think they found their path way better than the scientists in Half-Life

Im playing this wonderful FM on expert and totally stuck now. Checked all places, but could not find
    spoiler:
the vault key nor have the children-objective. Also did not manage to figure out the code. There is only a vague note about the combination
    . Please Help

Edit: Found the casino-code . Great idea.

Very impressive mission. Congratulations and thank you, Spitter.

I am playing on normal difficulty. So i found a scroll with it on it.

I agree about the children following you quite well, i was concerned one of them would get stuck somewhere.

Whoops sorry about that, sort of spoiled it for you, didn't know you were that early in the mission.

I'm having trouble finding the code. I thought maybe the fingerprint kit could be used on the number pad to see which buttons had been pushed but that didn't seem to work. Help??

Edit: Never mind. As usual, as soon as I posted for help, I figured it out. For anyone else having problems "use" the kit on each number to see which ones have been pushed.

I thought the same thing, but considering the size of this beast.. I can see how long it could have taken..

I'm running in circles like nobody's business. I don't have the children objective, I can't for the life of me find the game room -- 'tis the Trickster's meddlings, I'm as sure of it, as the Builder himself.

    What's a taffer to do?

mol - Find an elevator in the big warehouse and take it to the bottom floor. Look down one of the side passageways for the gaming room. It's across the hall from the kitchen, I think. You'll get the objective about the children eventually.

    THANK you!

Can't imagine how I missed that room. Area of localized, condensed stupidity hovering around my head, apparently. <:-|

    I'm stuck now though -
    spoiler:
I have the evidence, but after trying to drop it everywhere in the watch station, the objective doesn't tick off. Where should I put it?

Me too. It's a great mission, but on Expert, everything else done I think, none of these objectives will check off:
Deliver the letter to the watch office. Don't kill anyone. Let no harm befall the children. Leave the way you came.

I'll try it in Normal to see what happens.

As for the evidence objective, I just had to drop it on the counter in the main foyer and the objective ticked off.

For the children, did you lead them out of the warehouse and around the yard towards a metal bar gate that you couldn't open? Once you get near it, they run off through the gate on their own and the objective ticks off.

    Loved this one

Spitter you did a great fm, it had just about everything i like in an fm. The fingerprint idea was genius and I like that Garrett does some good. The only thing i miss is no secrets.

All OK now - I was trying to use the letter labelled Gart-to-Deryn instead of the scroll labelled Personal Letter. Doh!

I've really enjoyed playing this one. Well done!

    I'm stuck

    spoiler:
In the small wharehouse is an orange door, maybe red, whatever. It's locked. I can't seem to find a key or switch. The smugglers cargo obj is checked as it was not completed. What's up? Did I do something out of order? Is behind that door the smugglers cargo.
    Any hints please. Thank you

    Oh yeah I forgot this
    spoiler:
How do you open the gate at the top of the vault circular stairs(after going down the elevator)???

    spoiler:
Orange door - you won't find the key to get inside as such - you'll see why, you'll need to find an alternative way in. look up!
