DataBank Non-operational - 12:50pm EST - Dan
The DataBank (now called ShockData) will be non operational, as renovations commence. For my own personal convenience, the section will not be taken off-line, so that I may be able to test the various links too and from the section. This will of course meen that any visitor may wander about the reconstruction zone. Be aware that you WILL find broken links, missing files, and all sorts of disarray there, so no complaining. You have been warned!

The Future of TriOptimum - 12:30pm EST - Dan
What is in store for the future of the TriOp Corp Net? There are currently three projects in development, by three different people.

I'm sure many of the faithful visitors remember the time when TriOp was filled with promises of upcoming new stuff, but never delivered. Well, we have now delivered on all of these but one, the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). But that's about to change, because the FAQ is now well under works. Any questions you would like to submit will be greatly appreciated. We need your questions!
Submit a question to the FAQ
Please put "FAQ" as the subject of your letters. Thank you for your participation.

A second, surprise project is in the works as well. I'm not giving away it's nature as of yet, because like any project in development, it's nature is in a constant state of flux. Expect to see more news on this project over the next week or so.

And finally, our DataBank shall receive a renovation. It is the most underdeveloped part of the site, and I have received complaints about it's disorganization. It shall receave a new name, ShockData, and will be as polished as any other main feature at TriOp. The renovations shall begin immediately.

Voice of the Resistance - 10:00am EST - Dan
Wednesday has arived, and I'm sure that everyone wants a explanation. I am pleased to announce that the SSlogs main Feature has been closed down. Why? well, it was boring, to simple and quite franky, I doubt that anyone ever looked at it.

Now, you don't really expect us to do something like that do you? We didn't just remove SSLogs, we replaced it, with something I'm sure every shock fan will want to visit again and again...

Grand Opening time... Drumroll please....

Pardon the Intrusion - 5:00pm EST - Dan
Pardon the intrusion, the hacker identifying himself as Joey "Chicajo" D. has been captured, and reprimanded. Please disregard his entree, we shall clean it up as soon as we break his encryption sequence. There shall not, repeat, not be anything extraordinary occurring on the TriOptimum Corporate Network on Wednesday, June 24th, 1998. The operation of this site shall continue as always. Thank you, and Goodnight.

Urgent Transmition - 12:00am EST - Joe
*.**.***...**(*()#)(#....... I think I'm in... If anyone can see this, I'm Joe, aka Joey "Chicajo" D. If you've been to ShockTunes then you know who I am. It's important that you listen... I don't have much time... Some TriOp exec honcho, Dan Todd was his name, had the corporate hounds track me down. He told me he wanted to do something *cool* here... I knew what he meant. *Cool* came out of his mouth but *Blow the lid for my wallet's sake* is what I heard. He made me an offer I "couldn't refuse" - in the fashion as only power-hungry corporate scum can do ( and I thought Edware Diego was an only-child...). Up until now I've had to keep my mouth shut and even though I've made it this far, their tracker utilities are sniffin' just around the corner so l've gotta make this quick and dirty... On Wednesday, June 24th, 1998, you're gonna see something here you never thought possible. An addition that will show you what SHODAN was truely capable of. Things that were never meant to be seen by the public eye. It's called V.....Uh oh.....umm, I think I've been caug#())#(###(#***.****.**.............

Attention Artists! - 7:30pm EST - Dan
There is quite a bit of artistic potential in System Shock, and I'm sure that many of it's fans are Artists as well. I have decided that it's about time that TriOptimum reflected that. So I am going to open up a System Shock Art Gallery, here at TriOp.
So how do you go about getting your artwork into the gallery? First email me, Dan Todd and introduce yourself. I would prefer if you would include a sample of your work, and/or a URL to an art gallery that has your work in it.
Although strictly System Shock artwork is favorable, any cyberpunk drawings will be accepted. I look forward to your many submissions!!

Don't forget that the System Shock 2 Fan stories section is always open to new writer's works. Even though SS2's story has already been settled upon, and these stories will in no way influence the actual game, us System Shock fans are still interested in reading your ideas!
