Who's POV I wonder. Any guesses?

I lay in the cooling water, everything but my eyes and the tip of nose submerged, blowing bubbles as I breathed. I could feel him in the next room, brooding when he should have slept. He'd been doing that more and more lately, ever since we'd left the freedom of the open countryside to get on that boat. I flapped in irritation and half the bath water ended up on the floor. I snorted in amusment and splashed some more. It felt good to have the water lap around me for a short time. But to be surrounded by it for days...! And the fish! I hated eating fish! They were tiny, slimey, foul-smelling mush and I hated them. I snorted again, causing an avalanche of bubbles to appear on the water's surface. And if the sea wasn't bad enough he had to bring me to a city! I felt cramped, suffocated and horribly squished! I hated being around all these people and no doubt most of them hated me too!

And I wasn't the only one. People always made him depressed. They gave him headaches and made him grumpy. He was no fun when he was grumpy 'cos then he wouldn't play, he'd just shut himself up or find himself a female. And that only made him more depressed. He was fun most of the time though. And he made me nice hot baths and showed me lots of clever things. I liked him. Lots. He was like a big brother. And he was just as gulible. All I had to do was roll my eyes just so and he'd do whatever I asked. Most of the time, anyway. I flicked more of the water from the bath. It hit him right in the face.

It is obviously about A, and I think it is R's POV (lets be a tiny bit cryptic, so that Kyloe and whoever reads this place does not understand at once). Not sure if it is R's POV, though, because your concept of her species differs from mine.

I liked it.

It's meant to be from R's but I'm not sure I caught her way of thinking right yet. Its gonna take a little practice, me thinks

Somehow, I associate with the thoughts of animals more colours, tastes, and smells, rather than words. You know... if an animal thinks about something, it will more probably imagine your appearance than your thoughts. In your concept of dragons this is different, that is sure.

Hmm..

I always thought of dragon's as being more intelligent, thoughtful and philisophical (not sure that's the right word) than humans. But she's only a baby. Its a hard combination to try and write.

Whoops. I feel like Peeping Tom.

Lytha, I think you are under the influence of one Pterry.

Jyre, why do you have so much talent and I have none?

Here's something from the Economist:
God said to St Peter: "Peter, I'm going to make a beautiful country. Fertile Lowlands, beautiful mountains with graceful waterfalls down their sides. Sheltered glens that glow purple in the summer. I'm going to make the people of this country strong, brave and noble. I'm going to give them a drink that glows like gold, called whisky. This noble country of handsome men and the prettiest girls will be called Scotland. What do you think, Peter?"
St Peter said: "Well, God, that's all very well, but do you not think you're being too lavish in the gifts you're bestowing to this country? It sounds like heaven on earth."
God replied to this: "Oh, there's no possibility of that. Wait 'til you see who I'm going to give them as neighbours."
