Cool, cool. Though I prefer reading interviews. I liked the additional information on how your character can change when using plasmids. It wasnt clear to me if these effects are accumulative or just one-time events that change the appearance of your character and then return to baseline when the 'spell' has finished.

It also isnt clear to me as to how different game play styles will be successfully enabled. I just dont see how they are going to manage that. We'll see I suppose.

Would you honestly rather read an interview than hear the people speak? I find it a lot more interesting actually hearing the interview for various reasons including the fact that there's no chance of misquoting.

Also, the inflection in their voice can convey a lot more meaning than the words themselves.

Yes, but it can be nice to have a transcription for those exceptionally long-winded folks. That way, you can skim through instead of listening to all of it

i think they are just both very concerned and cautious so nobody can read
anything into their comments and twist it around on a message board

That interview was awesome, excellent work!

The whole discussion about combat and the different methods or resolving situations reminds me why I'm so excited for this game, June can't arrive soon enough.

Comments on a few things he said...

At 12:15 Ken says "Sacrifice is one of the greatest games ever,or of all time !!!!!!!
I wholly agree,as I bought it the day it hit retail and loved it then and still think its a damn good RTS.

At 40:33 Ken says he is currently working with a studio in Shanghai China currently
Is this the 'sub-group' that Mr Kline referenced a day or so ago, that is working on the pc stuff ? .... just curious

I doubt they'd outsource any kind of design. It's more common to outsource art, especially with the massive amount of art assets needed for modern games.

I'd still like an honest answer to this question, from a team dev....

No answer yet................Or they dont want to answer ? Or I and others will find out the answer, after the game comes out on store shelves.Kens comments on the issues of out sourcing, didnt leave me with the 'warm and fuzzies' And I understand where he is coming from in a way.But given what he said of having to work with out sourced teams on a game;hearing his less then glowing feedback.Throw that in with Mr Clines recent forum comments on the "sub team working on the pc part of the game"... and well...Silence speaks volumes.

Waiting For X06, A Tragicomedy In Two Acts

Entertaining, though not much meaty info. Also, rated M for borderline licentiousness

Actually, I thought there was some really good info--hints about being able to save instead of exploit Little Sisters, and that this will be a plot point as well as a gameplay device.
