A lovely mission, Indiana Garrett all the way
Have yet to meet the final objective, I'm a bit puzzled on how to get down when past the sphinx.

Redface, if you are talking about the room inside the sphinx, just drop from one beam to another and then onto the slanted section.

Yeah I eventually did that, but it cost me quite a lot of HP.
Anyway, finished now (apart from 2 relics), and liked this one a lot. Well done, Nicked

dont know if this is a bug or if there is another way.

in the room with the book, I tried to jump into the alcove with the book
but I always land on the edge of the room even though I am sure I should be able to jump into the alcove.
It just prevents me from getting in there.

    any ideas/hints? thanks

    great FM by the way

Awesome!! I loved "From Beneath the Sands". DL'ing now - and big congrats Nicked.

Love the opening blurb in the your first post btw

Edit: Maybe this is why I dreamt I was fighting mummies last night <---- true story (I still have 5 year old kid dreams)

I agree I also do have those dreams ánd more.
I'm fighting a whole lot more in MY dreams. A lot related to RL, but could this also be a Thiefrelated disease perhaps???

    BTW: I'm stuck.
I'm in the Sfinx rooms now, going down, finding a scroll (I allready have the book) and a gold crown near a body, a zombie is walking around, very alert ..... and now what?: I can't get up there anymore.
Furthermore: I can't exit more of these places, so I guess there must be a route when and where to go?!

dkessler - It's not a bug. You can't get to the book that way. There is something you need to do first in the chamber you are in.

Gloria - You can climb the blocks in the area with the corpse and jump/climb your way out of there.

Wow, I popped in for a final look of the day and what do I see but a new mission. And not just any mission either, but Beneath the Sands 2. I really loved the first one and never thought we would see another one. Thanks for the wonderful surprise. Downloaded and will be play tomorrow I hope.

    Burial Chamber

I can't figure out the code to get into the secret burial chamber. I have both maps, the Book of the Dead and have been to the Water Shrine. I see the big tomb, but entering the 6 hieroglyphs don't seem to do anything.

dkessler - If you put out the guardians then there should now be a ladder going up to the room with book.

Cogline - You get the correct code from the maps. Try looking at both maps. Once you enter the correct code, the block above the buttons moves. That is your way forward.

    Cogline,

    Hint:
look at ALL of the maps to get the order of the hieroglyphs to punch in.

    Out and out spoiler:

There are three maps. Level 1, Level 2, and both maps together.

This is probably the best tomb style mission I have played yet . The graphics, sound, and game play are right on . The puzzles were interesting and entertaining without being overly difficult, the readables were descriptive and entertaining without being long winded . Basically everything was well balanced which made for a fun mission, thank you very much .

Hey, I loved the first one so I had to snatch this and play it immediately. What a fantastic job, thank you so much for making another pyramid-type mission! (I love those)

Love the traps and puzzles. Totally my style. Gotta say it's also quite beautiful!

Finished with 2/5 relics Gonna have to go back in to find the others!

    Good work

Hint: think up, at the spike pit.

Spoiler: There's a beam over the ramps above the spike pit you can rope arrow up to and have a look around there.
