    I am so tediously predictable.

    KMFDM: Virus

    [Edit]

Link errors, I blame this shitty tablet interface. Long story.

Since the video McTaffer posted is "unavailable" for those in the US, here is a link that works for us. I can honestly say it is the best dog barking song since Pink Floyd.

    Wicked KMFDM song. Timely too.

Here is the guitar battle at the end of Crossroads again just because it is a damn good movie and you should see it.

Again with the predictable stuff. Can you tell what's been on my mind lately?

    Front Line Assembly: Epidemic

    Front Line Assembly: Virus

    The The: Infected

I'm visiting my parents up in the arctic, but the corona virus is forcing me to cut my visit short and go back home before some travel ban is imposed and I'll be stuck here for months. I love my parents, they're very nice people, but quite old now and increasingly senile, you need a lot of patience to be here. If I would be trapped with them in this tiny arctic town at the very edge of civilisation for four months, I'd rather smash my own head in with a snow shovel, it would be much less painful. I spent the first 19 years of my life wishing desperately to leave, and now, nearly 30 years later, I have no desire to stay any longer than is absolutely necessary. But at least the weather is nice, and the snow piles up to only 9 feet so you know it's spring time.

Yeah all our minds are there. Was just listening to this track from last year and noticing how it takes on a new meaning now.

I can't leave my house, or answer the phone
I'm going down again, but I'm not alone

Not sure what the deal was there, sorry about that.

I revisited The Days of Future Passed the other day, and forgot about this underrated gem. No surprise since the only songs off this album anyone ever talks about are "Tuesday Afternoon" and "Nights in White Satin".

A Sixties gem more relevant today than ever:

I very fortunately got to see both QMS and The Moody Blues when these albums were current.

Most of their stuff is droning satanist mediocre but this one has something to it.

I was supposed to be seeing these guys today, but that show was yet another casualty of the pandemic. I'll try and catch them in safer times.

16th century deep cuts right here.

Loads of acid is meh, but this track has decent composition.

I like the A.V. Undercover series. Probably my favorite two covers are...

The Regrettes playing Fox on the Run

And Xiu Xiu's Sharp Dressed Man

    R.I.P. John Prine.

A shame to see him go. The guy wrote some wonderful melodies, and was still cranking out the hits. His collaboration with Swamp Dogg on Memories is one of my fave 2020 tracks so far. Here's one of his earlier songs tho, and I think my introduction to his work. In case you haven't heard any of his music, it's a good place to start.

Thanks henke. This one hurt. My favorite of his will always be the one my daughter sings so well. I wish I could link her singing it but here is the man himself instead. I don't think facebook links work here.

Just in case the link works or there is some way you can access it here is how my daughter sings it- https://www.facebook.com/samantha.ba...367306419/?t=0

I wish she would put one of her better versions on Youtube.

Also here is one done by a friend of a friend about the quarantine during quarantine by just himself at home. It's pretty damn good. The guys who play the Nashville bar circuit are going stir crazy right now and some are cranking out some good shit. Dave wants to take over the drums on this and do it for real.
