A caestus only & company of champions run of DS2 SotFS

I did a partial caestus only run of DS2 SotFS some time ago but this time I decided to do it while in the company of champions covenant and to post videos on youtube of all the bosses as I defeat them (ideally while in human form as my character looks much better that way).

For those who don't know the champions' covenant makes the game harder by decreasing the damage you do to enemies and increasing the damage done to you by enemies.

Also you are not allowed to summon or engage in co-op with other players.

So far I have defeated the following:

    The Last Giant

    The Pursuer

    Dragon Rider

    Flexile Sentry

Wow, that's really hardcore. I've often thought of trying to beat the game with fisticuffs. You've inspired me but i don't think I've got the patience to do this with the Champion's guild; many of the later bosses HPs points are quite high and I think I would get sick of it.

    Love the Bronson look btw.

Cool vids, tons of respect here. I can't imagine how hard this will be when you get to someone like the Ruin Sentinels or the Smelter Demon.

Thanks. Apart from the abysmally low range which every now and again makes your attacks miss even at point blank range the caesti are quite cool weapons. It's really satisfying to hit enemies with the left fist, right fist combo for instance.

I don't see Smelter Demon being much trouble as I'm pretty good at dodging his attacks and I've had quite a lot of practice on him from helping other people defeat him in earlier playthroughs, but we will see...

    Also, two more bosses done:

    Scorpioness Najka

    Ruin Sentinels

You actually fought all three sentinels at the same time. I probably wouldn't have been able to maintain composure if I fell down like that and would've died.

Good videos, keep it up. Btw, I saw you run around the whole Wharf to get to the Flexile Sentry ... you know there's a shortcut bridge connecting the first bridges and the pier next to the ship, right...?

    Thanks for the comments.

Regarding having to fight all three sentinels at the same time, on my first time playthrough of DS2 I would have basically given up the attempt right there and then, now I'm a bit more confident in my ability and also I was probably a bit lucky there.

That's one of those shortcuts where you kick something down and it creates a bridge, right? I usually have a pretty good memory when it comes to the shortcuts in souls games so it might be one I've managed to miss entirely. I'll keep it in mind for the next time I'm going through the warf (I think I do know roughly where it is).
