Oooooh, Insurmountable is a very fun roguelite mountain climbing game, focused on the logistics and strategy of conquering a great mountain. Its biggest flaws are that it's quite short and there isn't enough variety in the random events to support too many replays, but the first few times over the mountain are a lot of fun, so at the price of free I'd highly recommend it!

Lord of the Rings Online is giving away quite a lot of free stuff for their 15th anniversary celebration, if anyone's hankering for that hobbit life.

Nice! I never got around to playing any of the DLC for Infinite, so perhaps I'll give that game another try. Are the remastered versions of 1 & 2 worth playing if I've already the played original versions?

If you've played the original bioshocks, then no. Unless you haven't done the DLC for B2.

I also picked this up but I'm only going to play Infinite and the Burial at Sea DLC, I've already played 1 & 2 and Minerva's Den. The remastered graphics look a fair bit nicer but it's not even that great of a difference, not enough to make me want to replay those games at this time. Maybe in a couple of years or so.

I recently replayed the remastered rebioshock 1 (sorry had to roll with the 're's ) and was surprised to have enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. I had some frustrations with combat balancing (especially at first when I was low on ammo and weapons and tried to be stealthy haha), but the overall mood and style really holds up well.

VirtuaVerse giveaway over on GOG for the next 3 days. I got this one early on, and I liked it. The 16-bit cyberpunk aesthetic is great, and it does the genre right.

While I'm posting, the two Epic giveaways this week are:
    Game of Thrones Board Game
    and
    Car Mechanic Simulator 2018
