I can't say I envy you - there are also single non-functional links scattered in the long post. Correcting by hand will be a less-than-funny experience, I guess.

    Found at:
    DarkFate.org: CamVatorDemo

Both these links seem to be dead. Thankfully the wayback machine has them archived:
    CamVatorDemo.zip
    CamVator.txt

i dont know anything about the vbulletin setup here, but is it possible to add custom tags that create the anchors and the in-page links? like suggested here: https://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=221348

    I need your help, please.

Could you tell me where to find a guide "Convert World Rep to Model (Using New Dark’s Terrain Export Feature) by Jason Otto" please? All links are dead.

I've just added Zaccheus' Automap tutorial to The Dromesday Book:
    https://dromed.whoopdedo.org/dromed/automapsz

I've made a couple of tweaks but the instructions are basically the same.

    edit:
Also added Salvage's tutorial, although the original has been online for the last 20 years.

    Also see the index page:

I'm reading through nicked's Absolute Beginners Guide.. he and Komag have a knack for explaining things in simple enough terms yet detailed enough to be useful. Great job.

There's a link in it that I think is dead, however. The one to shalebridgecradle.

    Objective help needed, Thief 2

    Hi, I'm new here.
I am close to finishing my first FM. I need help with objectives. Thief 2.
For example: How can I make a purse an objective? instead of loot. So I can place it on the sheriff's desk, as a bribe.
If you are tempted to reply "RTFM", please just post a link to it instead.
Basso went to cityhall to pay 3 bribes, but misplaced them. (maybe his pocket was picked).
You volunteered to go find them.
Find; (1) The Health Department Tavern License monthly fee, (2) City Councilman Cheetum's monthly retainer for legal advice, (3) Monthly donation to the Bluecoat's Widows and Orphans' Fund.
    THANKS
    - Mike the Mute.

    This should explain it:
    https://dromed.whoopdedo.org/dromed/bringobject

If you're asking about the other part of the setup, i.e. turning a purse into an ordinary object etc, the best thing to do is make another object that already does what you want (e.g. a lot of things in the QuestItems section), and make it look like a purse (via the Shape > Model Name and Inventory > Object name* property)

    * For that you may need to extract objnames.str from strings.crf and put it in your FM's own strings folder. The structure of the file is straigtforward.

You made Little Timmy smile for the first time since his father's cowardly murder. :-)
