Thread: T2 FM: Nosferatu - Volume 2 - updated to v1.1 (08 Nov, 2019)

Playing this FM for the first time and just in awe of the castle... and I'm only in the 1st mission ! Thank you Sensut for this... and I still have mission 2 to look forward to.

Now in mission 1, I've completed all objects and now on a loot hunt. I ended up 150 short and checking the loot list I reduced that to 50 after finding a goblet. Now the last 50 I suspect is a ring up high. I'm standing above the gargoyle (north west corner of the courtyard) and hoping someone can nudge me where I should be looking. TIA

If I have to describe the castle with one word, itīd be: Pretty A perfect fanmission sensut, as always. The design, the graphics, the story, the atmosphere, the custom objects, the architecture, the gameplay.. everything is just brilliant. I often stand around looking at the pretty things, just thinking "woooow".

The first mission I liked a tiny bit more, cause it was nice to have to find the statuettes and the secrets. the second mission was prettier though, with all the snow <3 loved it. 10000/10 for both!
Thanks so much for this!! I canīt wait for mission 3!

PS: So far I have 5 fanmission authors that are my favourites: Christine, Zappenduster, Yandros, Eternauta and obviously, Sensut!

BlackJack16, my notes on this mission mention a ring only once. I wrote that I had found a small piece of loot in a large bird's nest, which one can access after obtaining the Overlook key and using the teleporters. This could be, my notes say, a ring. It is not certain, though, and I did not write down how valuable it is. However, it's certainly high up in the mission.

Thanks baeuchlein. Interesting, as I did find a Gem (65) in a nest when teleporting. This loot list in the original game thread shows 2 items in bird nests. With your additional notes I'll check out the teleporter and roof again... hopefully with eyes open. The views from the roof and teleporting locations are all worth seeing again anyway.

edt... For future travellers looking for the last 50 loot... check the low roof on the south west side of the castle courtyard.

Now on to the 2nd mission !

Does this replace the Dracula Reloaded v2.0 campaign from 2009 ? Or is it completely new ? Today is Day 1 of re-installing Thief 2 after almost 10 years, so i'm adrift in a sea of n00bishness.
The only names I could remember were Sensut and SlipTip, and that's what brought me to this thread.

They are both separate campaigns as I understand it.

AFAIK, Nosferatu was built on an ancient version of "Dracula". Several places are similar to the ones in "Dracula", but there are differences as well. It's somewhere between completely new and a replacement. If you liked the Dracula campaign, chances are good you will also like this campaign, which is incomplete so far.

    Hi Sensut!

Thank you for these amazing missions, they are truly astounding.

The other day I was watching a Nosferatu video by Dahenjo, and I had an idea:

What if for some future mission you used the same castle, but this time there was a typical quantity of guards/npcs/undead that could seen throughout the many beautiful rooms and courtyards?

Not sure if that's feasible dromed or plot-wise, but just wanted to throw that out there.

I could imagine that sneaking around people, with the occasional blackjacking, would be so much fun in this castle!

Man, that was a great ride. I hope Sensut and his crew are working in gaming/entertainment industry, because they have a knack to create such a great atmosphere (singed roofs above the candles, customised objects - these details are the best!) and give only as much information as it is needed to complete the missions.

To the people who have only played Nosferatu: I strongly recommend other Sensut's missions, both Garret-themed and Carpathian Tales
