I'm on expert. I only have an optional objective left (the hell ruby).

Well I have a couple of items that are really looking like ingredents. But I cannot really think of any place to mix or put them.

I have Magma Crystal, Monker mash, grape seeds, black grease, and a mechanical eye. I cannot use the wood chipper anymore since I made the monkey mash with it. I'm quite confused about what to do witch such an amount of "unknown" items. Also, I am aware of that brother who has a habit throwing out his own waste the window, but I cannot really find a recipe in his office!

I even have a cray egg, but I cannot really find anything "hard" enough to break it as the readable suggested.

For mixing stuff: Go back to where you got the monkey head.
For breaking the cray egg: There is a factory with a diamond drill bit on a machine. Can't remember exactly where... near the mechanists maybe?

Ah. I was working off the assumption that he would be looking at the tap, rather than the drinking site, whoops.

What nicked said, plus you have to read the recipe before you can mix stuff. It is in Devan's office, just search it a bit more carefully.

Yes! Thank you! Still, one question is left. Where on earth can I break up this cray egg? In the soap factory they mentioned Kokubu, who might have a drill. Now I found that Kokubu only have a really nice bathroom with a golden candle. Any hints on that one?

Thank you! Got it! Well worth the effort. Damn that Trickster!

Finished, it's an instant classic and essential Thief vibe. Really great quality! Can't believe I missed 10 (!) secrets. Where could they be... (replay value 10/10)

What a great mission! So much to explore, and despite that, I still can't locate this
    spoiler:
recipe - I've climbed on everything in the hammer church, bookcases, ladders, etc, and still no luck - maybe I haven't found Devan's office yet?

I found a 'crate key' and used it to open a very obvious crate near the Westside Warehouses, but there's nothing inside. Is this a bug or intended?

Read Ratteson's contract if you've bought it.

It's on the second level, on the west side. Search the office carefully.

actually I think this is totally not the case in this mission....especially since you have detailed map and buildings with clear shapes, especially balconies on the map are very helpful..if you found this disorientating...go for into the odd or builders paradise

Agreed - I would say this mission has some of the best landmarking and least confusing layout of any city mission I've ever played.

the sense of discovery as I explore is amazing, though backtracking to find a specific place is getting frustrating since there is no straight route.
nearly done, I think; is there actually a safe in the house the thieves are searching?

    for the desperate...
recipe: in the librarian's office, check the chair
drill: near the pagan party and fort captain's apartment

    Out of bounds...

So on my travels and black grease I ended up here -

Then ran into this guy and laughed out loud for a straight 8-10 seconds..

What exactly am I supposed to do for him..?

And regarding the apartment with a frog in a captainate, is there any actually hidden level..?

I assume you're referring to the hidden stash referenced in the Thief's Note? If so, there's a lever so well hidden I only found it by accident. Check around the furniture in that building.

How can I crack open the Smuggler's Package? I gather it's got the Mechanist gear in it, but I can't find a way to open it. I tried that diamond drill bit to no avail already.

Erm, you don't. You deliver it to the crate in the warehouse like it says in the objective.

On Expert, I've got the trickster's gem (hasty use of holy water arrow after use of the dispersal potion), and so far been unable to get what looks like a gas arrow between the southern towers of the cathedral. But I now have a technical issue. All recent save games are failing to load and I crash to desktop instead. Earlier, saves/loads were working correctly. Anyone else had this?

You can jump over there from the belltower.

Could you upload any of your corrupt saves to gdrive or any other place where we can download them? Maybe we can find out what's causing this.

I had to do an early restart and forgot to re-buy the scroll (which I hadn't read yet), so I took Conall's "hmm" when I used the box with the gear lock to mean something.
