    FAO: Brem (Off Topic)

I may be quite wrong here, but it seems that PC Gamer has kept very quiet about Arx Fatalis. Any plans for previews?

    UK or US?

To be honest, the UK haven't ever been making any noise about it to go quiet from.

    UK.

And yes, that's what I meant by 'kept quiet' instead of 'gone quiet'. Unless something goes horribly awry in development, it's likely to be a very high-profile title.

It's high profile when a magazine doesn't seem to particularly care about it?

Happens occasionally. Usually then a PR does their job and shouts at the journos why its great.

Can I just take this opportunity to "big up" and give "all dues" and "props" to the rather spiffy looking LASER SQUAD: NEMESIS?

    No?

    Oh okay.

    Sorry.

    I won't then...

I was in the beta of LSN.

Quite fun, but it'd didn't seem to be worth the money they were asking for the full thing.

The marines' grenade launchers were great fun - perhaps a bit too effective for the maps that game with the beta. Snipers seemed a bit poor - they needed a longer view range. Aside from these balance issues, the interface was underdeveloped, and it all felt a bit clunky.

Nice idea though, just needs more polish.

I love LSN. Reviewing it currently.

In fact, I was one of the people who suggested the robots be renamed "Machina".
