I did not plan to rework flash bomb because in EP2 there is quite a good one. I would like to concentrate on things that have never been improved.

I have tried to reach creator but without success. Anyway this was created in digital sculpturing software so it would need some adjustments to be used in game. I also like EP2 version of flashbomb but in my opinion is far to big to be usable as showed in movies
I also really like copper/bronze colour and general metallic effect (do you think this can be faked in non-pbr render?); in EP2 it looks like rusted, somehow. I think maybe texture and size change of EP2 version would be enough...
I would say that it is very very BIG
But the problem is in the original model, the EP concept just improving the silhouette of the model.
If make it smaller, it will hang in the air.
Yes, this is a nice model, and it will make sense in fan missions. I reduced the original bomb dimensions in my missions and placed it on the same plane with the surface on which they lay. This can only be done manually. They themselves will not fall. And if they fall, then explode.

There are at least about 200 objects that I have selected for rework. This is about 40% of everything that is already in this mod and EP2.
Really really nice! Really like "softness" of this models; also material effects are really convincing. especially during gameplay![]()
Jeez! These look so much better! I can't look at those stretched textures of original models anymore! It was OK at that time on 640x480, but doesn't hold up on full HD or even bigger monitors.
yeah, i have played again some of T2 missions and i think its a must have. I agree that models are not as "close-to-original" like in Enhancement Pack (which i love really much!) but its still keeping original feeling, taking graphics to a next level.
I went back to the covered furniture again. The first time it worked out awful. Now I am happy with the result.

A new version of the mod is available: 6 new models and minor fixes to existing ones.
I also found that the game crashed on the store screen due to the fact that the sword texture was in DDS. Replaced with PNG. Make sure to uninstall the old version before installing the new one.

Not in this pack, but if memory serves you had a blackjack object with a dds texture.
It made crash the game if this object appeared in shop.
Cool! I'll try the new version. I'm not sure if this is present, but I noticed crashes on some missions with the lamp stand model, like in "Keeper of the Prophesies" (First two mission for example).
All crashes are related to DDS textures of models used in the store screen. Unfortunately NewDark does not support DDS in the interface. I replaced these textures with PNG.
Almost every day I play different fm with this mod and did not notice any more crashes.
No, regarding to the standing lamp it doesn't happen in the loadout screen but during the mission if the object is appearing (like opening a door in the room).
Now I remembered that this happens due to the incorrect texture resolution. The lamp is fixed in this version.
