It wasn't Thieves' Quarter, Insurrection or The Careless Hand.
    Insurrection was great

You sure you didn't dream it? I've had quite a few FM dreams over the years from playing FMs for years.

I know it was a abounded city or town occupied by the undead the haunted cathedral style ruins architecture. Pretty sure there were thieves and hammerites in it either a factory, chapel or a thieves hideout. I think there was a villain a mage.

Damn, Dark Messiah really is the only one I can think of that fits this description, but it's not it. You have me completely stumped here.

"A Brawl in the Tombs", maybe? It is part of a small series containing "Your last breath", "A Brawl in the Tombs", "Island of Iron pt. 1: Fortress of Steel" and "Island of Iron pt. 2: Confrontation". Two more missions/campaigns are somewhat loosely attached to the end of these four; these two missions/campaigns are "Deep Trouble" and "Deep Trouble 2: Mother's Dominion". These two have also been published as "Deep Trouble: City under the Sea" as well.

"A Brawl in the Tombs" has an underground graveyard mainly occupied by various undead, and a small section serving as headquarters for a group of thieves. There are also Hammerites guarding their fortified posts near a large chapel. The player can lure the thieves and/or Hammers into combat with undead, and then deal with the survivors.

The mage (or maybe an ex-Hammerite?) who is behind all this is finally found in "Island of Iron pt. 2". Some creatures (magical or undead) are also part of the opposition again, but there are no thieves there anymore, AFAIK.

    Thief 1 FM
    Two rooms, both square.
One is a bedroom with a door, open it and you're standing over an extremely deep pit with spikes at the bottom.

No objectives, all there is to do is fall down the pit and die.

This is likely The Drop (Demo). A similar mission is Ochiru.
