Good job finding the source for that chair, as always.
I agree with ZB, though - while that is undeniably the source, those chairs in Thief always gave the impression of being a gilded wooden chair.
That is, a wooden chair covered in a thin layer of gold decoration.
Somehow, I think I'll go for the version of the painting without the dewdrop.
Ah, you guys are no fun.
Edit: Perhaps gold plated chairs were the Medieval equivalent of a couch wrapped in plastic? Uncomfortable but durable.
I predict the dewdrop and plumsie version will show up in some FMs in the future.![]()
Or someone will make a mod to replace all the paintings in the game with it.

Hi
i have started work (again) on T3 HD Mod which could also include meshes from Enhancement pack. Does anyone have still some source unconverted meshes? Of course i can convert back BIN files buts its quite time consuming, so i want to avoid this when possible. I will appreciate all help
Thanks![]()
Wouldn't T2 objects look completely out of place in T3?
Hi. T3 textures color pallete and overall graphic style is quite "unitary" in comparison to previous Games in cycle. The idea for this mod is to make T3 visual style more similar to T1 / T2. Colorful graphic can also be stylish and consistent (see darkmod or dishonored). Regarding possible polygon count concerns - in general EP meshes/textures are higher quallity than original ones.

Gorman does have rather a large helmet in my portrait...or maybe it's just the way he's standing....oh matron!
Source: Portrait of Robert Rich, Second Earl Of Warwick (Anthony van Dyck)
Truart is based on Eugene Delacroix (for my portrait).
Fun Fact: Both Anthony Van Dyck and Eugene Delacroix have their work featured Thief 1!

That portrait is great!
I'll add it to the next release.
Not entirely sure about the frame, at first glance at least, the colours look very different?
It looks a bit... wicker.

This looks closer to the original. Does look like wicker, though. Maybe Truart's a fan of Rattan...
Hmmm... actually, since this frame is used for both Truart and Karras portrait, I do think it would be more a frame made of gold than wood
Good point, Jordan. I'll give it another go at the weekend.
Purgator, great Truart![]()
That portrait is a Tru-art!![]()
