Thief Gold "The Lost City" question

Hello,

I'd like to ask a question cause I think I can't finish the level cause I followed an unexpected path to get the EDIT: Fire Talisman. Cause I didn't find a way to jump from a building to a platform just before the EDIT: Fire Talisman building, I thought to invent a new way to get there, basically I jumped over one of those fire spheres and then jumped immediately on the terrain below the EDIT: Fire Talisman building.. losing some health but still I got to go inside there and solve the objective.
The problem is that now, coming back to leave the City I see that from that point I could not jump there's below a sort of bridge I suppose I had to extend to get there and to leave the city too. What can I do? Are there any other ways at least as an hint to avoid using that bridge? Because at first I didn't even see that bridge, it was not visible from the entrance of that building (the one with the animals inside etc..) but I suppose I had to use something on that machine at a lower level of the building, a key or something else. Reading the wiki around it seems that the original T1 was modified in TG for this same problem but I got to get there with that "smart" way.. now I think I can't go back..

Any hints?

First of all, it's Fire Talisman, not Earth Talisman. As for what you need to do, you can perform strafe jump and mantle on the other side. You do that by holding run forward and strafe left/right at the same time. This will allow you to run faster and jump further. During strafe jump you can turn towards ledge to mantle on it easier. I think it's possible to do it at the Coliseum. If not, near tower where you found Fire Talisman is another passage over lava. It requires strafe jump over it and mantling on the other side. Thanks, sorry for the error in the Talisman name I was so focused on the problem I confused the name.
I didn't know until now there was that possiblity for a faster jump. The passage over the lava is probably the same I used in the first place to get there but with a "simple" jump over that sphere once still yellow.. I don't even know how I get to still get it there alive. In another try I was expecting to jump to a rope arrow from another higher point in front of the Talisman but all the time it was impossible.
I'll try later, this level is maybe not the best until now of all the others and I never want to use easy tricks/codes or to skip level.

One of the changes Thief Gold made to this level was specifically to prevent getting stuck in the situation you've described.

From where you are (the coliseum platform with the unextended bridge), go back up the north tunnel a short distance. If you turn right and look over the narrow river of magma, there should be a passageway you can easily jump to. This leads to a one-way drop back into the coliseum building.

Thanks for the hint! I didn't see that tunnel into the terrain and saved me from that bad situation. Meanwhile I was trying to leave the city and ironically I found only now the key for the bridge.. .. I'm trying to leave that Lost city as soon as possible..
