The_Dude, it seems you don't like any thing in the missions that causes some difficulty. Playing Thief is just exploring the map ON YOUR OWN, not putting questions and getting the answers at once.
And what was the purpose of the blackjack?
Just for fun maybe, isn't it a good idea to make you struggle to get it and then it turns out to be useless?

Read carefully all the texts. If I remember correctly, in the basement there is a switch (behind some crates) that opens secret door in the chapel.

Not entiely, any unarmed orks can be killed with the blackjack, I did the one in the basement and the guarding the bodies. Just cant find the money in the guards sleeping area...

I liked these, Citadel was somewhat frustrating though
    spoiler:
in that I was forced to ghost a lot of it and after opening a lot of locked doors finding nothing useful inside...that always annoys me, especially when its nearly every room.

    Winter Holiday was great....
    spoiler:
I wanted to get onto the boats though....and up the lighthouse...and what were the snowballs for?

First Day of Winter was cleverly done, if a little confusing
    spoiler:
( tree climbing, failing if you go into the caves before putting the wife and kid to bed and locking up the thieves )
....However this one can be fleshed out a lot and would make a really nice bigger FM. Could do with a lot more loot though and possibly a note to your kid on the tree
    spoiler:
telling them not to climb it again...gives you a clue and can be part of the story

I really liked the First Day of Winter, especially the

    spoiler:
increasing snow cover and the mad wife!

    In citadel, I used it...
to kill all the orcs!! MOUAHAHA

it was crude and gruesome but it worked.

I enjoyed them all to an extent . I thought that first day of winter looked and played the best. I really don't understand the point of the blackjack in Citadel though

Because of different time zones you can still send your votes. And you will be able to do this for the next... hmmm... 10-16 hours. So there's still time to download and play these mini-missions!

I'm going to bed now (it's almost midnight here). When I get back home from work tomorrow, the voting will be over.

    Come on it's obvious

    spoiler:
if you are warm then you are warm

    spoiler:
in the fire of course in the brazier

    Isn't it obvious now? D'oh!

That's where I keep my keys.

I get easily frustrated dude, and hate searching endlessly for hidden items/ switches and goals wthout any clues, hints or logic. All three FM's were guilty of being unreasonably frustrating. I don't think I'm alone in that view.

In spite of this, they all had something good to offer, they just need a little fine tuning.

If designers choose to limit pick distances to such an extent that it is almost impossible to find a button or switch then expect complaints and frustration.

As I said: read the texts.

    spoiler:
    Captain Emerik,

The hidden chapel of Wrath-Amon has been sealed, along with our holy artifact, behind a secret, moving wall. The lock is in the wine cellar, right behind one of the crates. I have hidden the key in the fireplace on the highest level of the citadel. It will not melt, thanks to a material recently discovered at the hellforge.

    Regards,

    Malmon

    Hint:
    spoiler:
Check the balcony with burning braziers.

    Another hint:
    spoiler:
The key is in one of the braziers.

    Ooops... The_Dude was faster.

    Citadel:

Money - You can find money in the secret "room" that could be opened by a switch on the right side of the column at the end of the guards' bedroom

Blackjack - It's placed there only for making you thikn you're safe for a while

Key & Lock - Everything about them is written in the note behind the Captain's bed

Orcs - Yes, you can kill them, but I couldn't kill them all [ always at least one of them is left and stab me...

Lord of the Rings - HAve you found a halfling's body?

Thanks to the polish taffers for all this fine missions! It's incredible that they have been created in such a short time. I spent a very cosy evening playing them, with the snow falling outside and on my screen.

@bukary: I'm sorry, it seems that I've sent my votings 3 times! I hope that doesn't lead to confusion.

I think that note mentioned above in the Citadel needs to be placed in a more obvious place as I didn't come across it and clearly nor did others. Just a suggestion.

Well done to all three authors. I thought The First Day of Winter was the clear winner but all three deserve praise (11 days! )

It would be nice to see the winner finish, expand and modify an excellent effort.

I was thinking about this, but now I feel totally exhausted... I'll be back to Dromed probably in new year, so I'll consider it... But actually I have several ideas, which I couldn't make because of time limitation.
