    Episode 2

Cassandra Project Episode 2 over at Kieron Gillen's website.

Well I tried it and all I can say is don't get your hopes too high. It's just another case of a dumbed down sequel trying to cater for the console kiddies. All the things that made the original special - the intricate, well written conversations, characterisation, clever plotting leaving you wanting more, interesting game systems and level design... it's all been "streamlined" out in the name of removing the "unnecessary clutter" but all you're left with is a hollow shadow of the original. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come with Bioshock.

I quite like it actually. Obviously it's not as good as the original, but not a bad game in its own right. I think people are being too hard on Ep 2 just because of the brand name.

Already the open source nature of the game has paid dividends, as it's ported to the PC in shiny C++.

Unsurprisingly, I found this blog entry far more entertaining. Well okay, not so much the blog entry itself as the article it links to.

Charlotte's breasts aren't big enough. I thought you were going to fix that.

Seriously, is it supposed to look like it was made in QBasic, or did I download the April Fool's version?
