Anybody else playing this? I seem to be at a standstill. I can't find the key to Lord John Hampton's office. I did find an underwater section with a ghost standing by 2 bodies. There's a frobbable book there but it doesn't work. There's also a very long underwater passageway that seems to be a dead end?? I have enough loot but that's about it. Help?

I completed it on expert. The office is opened by a key,
    spoiler:
which only opens one of the locked doors to this room. If you have the office key, then when you find the locked door that doesn't open, go around the corner to the other locked door which does unlock. (I know it sounds confusing... hope this helps)

As for the key itself. Not sure when or where I picked it up. There are so many keys. Some on people, and at least one in a hidden compartment.

    spoiler:
The water areas seem to be for ambience only.

Lord John Hampton's office key can be found
    spoiler:
on the desk, in the office where the wall safe is, next to the room where the lady in red sleeps.

hmm, i like missions where gaurds seem to have preternatural senses.

    what is up with the
    spoiler:
swimming ghost, girl in the bathtub, and the tree beasts, next to the sign you cannot read?

Playing this on hard. There are lots of keys in the game. It would be nice to put them all on a key ring and not have to go through the inventory.

    spoiler:
Does anyone know what to do with the mini keg of explosives found on top of the corner clock in the office?

    spoiler:
There are two unfrobbable doors in the large circular entry. I keep looking for a hidden button as I feel they should open..

    Help, please

I finally finished on Expert. Thanks for the help with the key I'd missed.

Dawggon, I never found a way to open those either.

Only key I needed was my BJ opened all doors I needed then I found the keys.

Thought there would/should be something in the water. Didn't make sense to have it there and nothing to do with story First I thought that maybe that was how I was going to get out and end the mission.

when you come up from the elevator there is a door leading outside to a low fence, take the boxes and jump over. you will teleport to the room.

    spoiler:
In the area down from that balcony, there are two frobbable torch levers. The first is next to the well, it opens its floor for access to that flodded tunnel. Then I got a crate next to Hampton's office, transported it under the second lever, which is next to the doors where the treebeasts are, and that got me just high enough to frob it. However, I do not know what it does.

I would never have seen that second torch. Wonder what it opens?

Me neither. I can't figure out what, if anything, it does though. Has anybody discovered a way to open the end of the underwater tunnel from the Music room side?

no, really, what is with all the dead people? Sub plot? It would have made an interesting one. I cannot find anything on this.
And what of the two unfrobable blue doors?
    spoiler:
    fancy janitors room?

Does anyone know if there is any meaning of the "X" on the wall
    spoiler:
down in the area where the elevator and guard's quarters are?

Haven't figured that one out either - tried lobbing the explosive at it a few times, but nothing happened (other than me dying).

I enjoyed this mission playing on expert.
I really liked guards to be extra sensitive, so it made not so easy to sneak or BJ.
However, I got a feeling that the mission might be bigger, with more objectives (optional maybe).

    spoiler:
Unforbable doors, explosive keg, ghost under water, book by the ghost that highlights but does nothing, another book on a floor by bed with lady in red sleeping, dead child in a bathtub, X sign in a basement, underwater tunnel, useless torch levers, tree beasts, unfrobbable wall safe(?) in a storage room under kitchen, elementals in a room upstairs...

...all these parts have potential for long and intriguing plot.

Personally, I got a feeling that the mission was supposed to be longer, but for some reason it was somehow "cut off"; kind of not finished like it should be. Even when you complete objectives, you don't have to look for an exit, it just ends.

Anyway, nice experience = thnx for a good time.
