    Older T2 Mission: Sly's U.T. Arena (Mar. 1/2006)

Just a quick and dirty 2 1/2 hours or so of DromEd. SlyFoxx FM productions...in conjunction with 126 llamas and a dead dog...proudly bring you. Sly's U.T. Arena. No, there are no chain guns or rocket launchers. (You know, I always prefered the sniper rifle...but maybe that's just me.) But you do get arrows that go BOOM! And I suggest you find a sword right off taffer! Can you survive the arena? Can you find the Talisman of Earth? Can you find those little tiny coins that I hid? Well, I really doubt it unless you can drive Garrett as good as me. So what the taff are you waiting for? Head to cheap missions. Home of the greatest Thief FM's at bargin bin prices. Just tell Jason Sly sent you and he'll hook you right up with a great deal.

I'm smart enough to make a mission but I'm too dumb to post a link!

Done! Lots of fun, even for someone like me who usually doesn't kill anyone. Thanks for the pool as it was the only reason I survived.

Thanks for a fun 1 hr, 9 min... Nice little FM. Usually I play on expert
    where there is no killing.

    Right now I'm feeling rather

I'm not sure what to make about this just yet. I died a few times and gave up! Had to keep diving into the icey watta, just to save myself! I'll have another go later. I got some beta testing to do right now.

I thought a house full of Zombies was bad enough! Actually, that was pretty easy really. This time, those Zombies will be harder to kill, especially on the higher difficulty settings.

What was going through your mind when you were making this? "Hahaho, they're all gonna die!" probably! It's so true, so true!

BTW, i'm sure we don't have time in this, to hunt for tiny coins! That is so sly, Mr. Foxx!

Well Sluggypoo...'ol webe here said someting about fighting guards and so I opened up basemis.mis and one thing lead to another. The first incarnation was waayyy too easy. The second better. The third way too hard...so I added a few more juicy fruits and fire arrows. Zipped it up and beat it the first run. There is a stragety to this puppy.

And no ...I'm not telling where the coins are. It's not like they are hidden in a secret place or something. The clue in the readme is all you get.

I spent most of the time at the top, not counting collecting everything on the bottom first.

    spoiler:
It took awhile for me to get to the top. Cleaned out the lower area first, jumping in the water after each kill to lure the bowmen. Snagged arrows from the bowmen as they got near.

My method, even though it was the slow way.

I did it the way you did, Dawggon. I'm not much of a fighter so it was the only way I could survive.

Hahaha!!! This is very sly, you Ffox Once it started: WOW!!! What a battlefield! and thank God for pools

I played the same way as most of you, but I also walked round in circles, just opposite of where the guards were. Then I lured them into my corner by hitting one of them with my sword and got the hell out of there to the other site. From this position I was able to kill a guard with some broadheadarrows, than make a run for the pool to hide a.s.o.
Played for 23 minutes ......... just have to go back in to find the coins

My best stragety so far is to use the shadows and strike from afar so as to not be detected until I've let about 6 fire arrows loose.
    spoiler:
I'll start with one of the archers and let the AI gather round the inital blast zone. Taking out the archers early is the key. The sword guards are lambs to slaughter once the number of flying arrows is greatly reduced. Then I try and get up top and grab the group of fire arrows and stack 'em up as they come up the planks.

I think after the contest I'll expand the current mission and change up the weapons selection so as to test player proficency in other areas.

I didn't jump into the water until after all of the guards were dead. It would only help if the archers were gone.

I did it the way Slyfoxx did it.
    spoiler:
When the guards were close to each other, the blast radius of each ifre arrow gave damage to more than one AI.

    Also usefull is:

    spoiler:
When an archer starts searching in the shadows position yourself so that he will bump in to you and draw your sword. Wait untill hes on top of you and rapidly cut him down. Now you can use his arrows to take down more archers who have hopefully been weakend by a fire-arrow blast. Remember to put away your weapons when moving in the shadows so that no-one can see you.

    One great little tactical mission

I found this small mission excellent but no so hard. Completed in 57 mn 18 s. in Die ha! ha! Once you understand that
    spoiler:
Slyfoxx arranged the coins in a certain pattern it is quite easy to find them. My tactics was to get rid of the archers first and kill two or three of them at the same time

Please some more Slyfoxx and thank you

After all the great strategists offered their methods, I think I will tackle it again employing
    spoiler:
    fire arrows.
Didn't use them the 1st time.

Nightwalker and I must think alike. We're girly girls.

2nd time: 28 min.- receiving 7 damage. Put forth my killer image.....YIKES!!!
