    Bit quiet in here!

    Last post, Nov 2005!

Oh well, i'll see if i can't liven this place up! I've left Dromed and i'm going to learn Unreal Ed.

After playing Thief: Deadly Shadows, i'm going to start learning this beast!

Having experience in Anim8or and Terragen, will certainly come in handy for making new models and terrain.

    Catch you later.

I'd also like to learn UnrealED, but what game do I need for this? And can I import thief meshes, maps, ais in UnrealEd, to start making Thief FMs for Unreal?

I'm thinking of making Thief-like mod for other engines. And I'm checking some of the posts here ;-)

So, what version of Unreal do I need to create Thief-like missions?

Isn't Thievery created with the original Unreal Tournament?

yes, you'll need a patch and a map pack-you can buy the game for very cheap on amazon.com (I think I spent like $1.00)

Anyway it's great fun and you could always map for that.

hope to see you on some time!

I checked whether it will be possible, but I am not allowed to do this. AI meshes - mechanists, hammerites are intellectual property of Looking Glass studios and they are copyrighted. Importing into Unreal is against law.

Of course. But there really isnt a demand for thievery unreal fm's...poeple just seem to play it to compete against each other for the most part...You could make maps with objectives with thieves and guards and such...or amke your own ai meshes

I would have made that FM for anyone, at the time. I thought Nil8hate was a dude.

    Hmmm... I have this game...

    Hmmm...
I think I'll start learning this beast as well.

I'm sure I can make some models for it. And I like the way this editor compresses the sound files.

    Better find the UnrealEd tutorial.

    See ya.

I've some some doubts at the moment, regarding converting my models, made in Anim8or, to Thief3. There's a dark cloud above at the moment.

Hopefully, there'll be a converter some time in the near future.

DromEd is pulling, sluggs. How much longer can you ignore its plee? Can't you feel that feeling? The feeling that you love and hate at the same time. She (I'm assuming) wants to be fired up once more. To feel your mouse upon her display screens and the light caress of a room brush. So open her up and play around a bit. You know...like you used too...
