Can someone name off some of the more obscure loot locations in this FM? I'm all set to leave, but I need just a couple hundred more. Great FM by the way- kickass way to start the contest for me.

Enjoyed this one too. Very nice feel. Unfortunately, I too came up about 150 short on loot.

Laughed out loud at the books in the library.

Do not miss browsing the shelves!

Nice twist with the thieves! Unfortunately they made the mission much easier rather than harder. I was able to run around the place with no AI's to bother me.

Also had fun with this one.

I have 14 more than the required loot. I found all of the loot mentioned in this thread. Are there any more hiding places?

With the things mentioned in this thread I have now 5637. There are several cleverly hidden purses and coinsin the bed rooms: as far as I remember on a cupboard in one of the basement rooms (the one on the left?) and on a windowsill in the last room upstairs, but there are more. A small coin is on the floor of the gambling room. One mask in each thiefs' room under the bed. One goblet under the sofa in the room with the masks. Oh, and did you find the loot in the basement kitchen in one of the cupboards? Sorry, don't remember more hard to find loot.

Nice mission! Those book titles are really very funny

I have a loot list made up for this mission now so if anyone wants it, just email me. Very nice mission, by the way.

I enjoyed this FM. Would like the AI to be more of a challenge, though. I'd definitely like to see this one made into a bigger FM with lots of secret passageways & more AI. My thanks to the author of this one.

Oh, man,, I can imagine dozens of passage ways. Fireplaces, tapestries, you know the drill. Can really open up a good small second story line.

Did anyone else actually read the entire chess game?

I can't find the chess game thing I'm supposed to read! I've been running around for a long time, I practically control the place but can't find it!

but for the exception of Lord Casper, who is a very light sleeper and light sleepers deserve a gas arrow.

Question: how do you get into the Unknown area in the basement? I suppose there's an obvious switch I missed somewhere.

That looks like a bit of DromEd humor. "Blue Room" is a DromEd term for an area that is unaccessable to the player. Things get put in blue rooms that the player is not supposed to see...like items to be found in chests and AI who are waiting to be teleported into the "real world."

This is a very nice game, and funny, too.

Has anyone found the switch to the roulette table? Must be one as it was mentioned in a scroll. Think I frobbed every inch of the room to no avail.

No one to help a fellow taffer??

Just finished playing this one again and had forgotten how nice of a mission it is.

I ended 5 short of total loot, so I had to go back in and spend about an hour blind frobbing everywhere and everything. I even set off the alarm so I could KO all the AI's thinking maybe one of them was carrying it. Turns out there are 2 coins on the casino floor.

Whoa! Blast from the past. I remember building this and having quite a bit of fun. It came together very quickly but in the end was still rubbish compared to my competition. Oh well, I liked it and some others did to so there.

I hope you didn't think I was talking bad about the mission. I was 5 short of all the loot, had like 15 bad guys to KO after setting the alarm off, only a handfull of water arrows and limited places to hide.

    I was having a blast!

Oh no. I know it's not a bad mission. Just compared to designers who really know what they are doing it's hard to compete. If I remember correctly I got the honorable mention award.

I always liked this small inn mission. (Not that small!)

I often literally CAN'T decide what to play, then I come to the Fan Missions thread, and if any old ones come up, I play them. So, I replayed this, and I think it's a really good one. Also love the style of the enterior.
