    You could try
    spoiler:
pushing Mr. Oh Dear Senior into the lava. He's used to it already.
That sounds sinister and mean enough. I'll try that one out.

    Thanks

I've been trying to think of new stuff to do to that servant. The only thing I haven't done is take him up on the roof and BJ him there. Oh, wait a minute...

You should show this one as well. So you died together with Mr. Oh Dear Senior. I guess that explains how you got him onto the roof.

Just have to add my kudos for this mission.

Walk up on the ramparts , and look around...............absolutely

    gorgeous !!! And I love the surprises......the treebeast and/or

haunts, the low gravity room , the twists in the story, etc.

However, I am stuck in the Treasure Room !!! I have over 3000

loot ( playing on easy ) , but I can't reach the torc , and the door

    is still blocked.
Have checked all the rooms over and over,

    but I'm still stuck!!!!!

    Help please......................thank you.

NAC, have a close look at those zombies, both of them! I missed this too, because I didn't want to go nearthem.

The low gravity room was really fun - and this although I'm normally suffering from vertigo! But thanks for the warning.

    You must
    spoiler:
find all of the loot in order to open the gate to the portculis.

There are lots of things in this FM I would like player to encounter before they read about it, so please use spoiler tags.

I've searched 'key' but didn't get much help... I need to get into the crypts, after collecting all 8 items - but the only key is on the Caretaker's belt, and it won't come off! I've tried everything I can think of, and nothing works. Am I going to have to restart?

Have you acidentally alerted him? I sneaked at him from behind and got the key without problems. There's no other key, so you have to have this one to go on. Maybe it works if you let him calm down a little bit?

    Thank you for the help.

And sorry about the spoiler tags......I will remember next time.

he is alerted, I didn't know any better when I went on a KO spree... I've left and come back later, but he never stops searching!

    spoiler:
He will stop searching. I've spent hours sneaking up on him. If he sees you then he won't stop, so go outside and around the building, or stay away for about 3 minutes until he calms down. Then go back in and sneak up on him. Be very very quite.

    @Nancy

It's ok. Sometimes I forget and have to go back to add spoilers.

This is a truly wonderful mission, thanks John ! I loved the textures, and the storyline was truly wicked. I felt sorry for poor Mr Oh Dear, though

I have a problem with getting rid of the Oh Dears.
    spoiler:
I put out the lights and killed the haunts, so I can move freely around the treebeast. But I can't drop some of the items on the pedestals: the caretaker's bucket and Joe's whistle just won't drop. I've tried climbing on the pedestals after placing the three objects, thinking maybe this would do the trick, me holding them, but no, nothing happens. I've tried using the items on the platforms, but that doesn't work either.
    What am I doing wrong?

    Thank you Roz

    Yes
    spoiler:
you need to have all eight items and place each one on a specific pedistal.

You need to use Joe's items first.

Damn - my CD rom died a few days ago, so it'll be a couple months before I can afford to buy another one and pay to get it installed...

I can't wait to play it, though - that title doesn't help my patience any either!
Thanks to you for keeping your missions coming, John!

Nice creative mission, John! I really enjoyed it!

Question - I'm playing with an ATI Radeon card, and alot of the outdoor objects and textures were disappearing and reappearing as I walked by them. I've noticed this with a handful of other FMs as well - is it me or the mission?

At any rate, another great effort!

Thanks Ponterbee and Taffedinthehead. Installing a CDROM is very easy. Four screws, three cables, and one driver disc. Oh, set the jumper the same as the old drive.

I've only noticed objects disappearing in my FM when I allowed the attack to take too long, and even then it could only be done like that in dromed. If other FM do the same for you then I would suspect a driver problem.

Ok here are a few things that some might find interesting:

If you need a health potion,
    spoiler:
go upstairs above the east wing to the lab. There is a gizmo with a red button. Push the button and a health potion will appear below it.

None of the beta testers noticed this:
    spoiler:
one of the windows on the inside of a west wing room is smaller than on the outside.

There are a few more that I have seem to have forgotten. I'l post them when I remember them.

I liked the creative ways of:

    spoiler:
Killing the rapists - dark, but much more satisfying than a simple sword swipe!!

John, bdlk, thanks for the advice!
    spoiler:
My problem was basically trying use the "drop" key instead of he "use" key although of course the items work like keys...
Oh dear, what a wimpy way to die...

Anyway, I finished with only 3450 loot, so where the heck is the rest? I did find the secret though. Replay time...

Actually I was just messing around and decided to drop the servant into the "lion's den" and then incorporated it into the mission.
