    Andre

It seems I need to get into Andre's room before I can get into some other places. But this thread seems to be saying the key to Andre's room is inside Andre's room. This only makes sense to me if Andre has another room somewhere. Would someone tell me exactly where to find the key to Andre's room in the estate? Thank you.

thanks for the help so far, folks, but one last thing: I've gotten to the last bit in the hotel, and I'm in Pablo's room, but how do I get to his stash?

No, because I donīt have the time to create a new mission. But MH.TheFreak is currently working on a new FM, which will be a sequel to "Mysterious Invitation" but will also refer to "In dubio pro Garrett".

    @ all players:

I hope you enjoyed my first (and last) mission. Every author of a FM knows that itīs a tough work to do such a job. Thanks to all players who gave me a feedback because you are the reason why this mission has been done.

    cheers

I wanted to try this one tonight but my download is corrupt and im over my limit for the day at cheapmissions. Btw just when does that rollover. I often think its the next day(And it is here at least) and it still complains

Wish the limit was higher, I only downloaded one mission today
    I haven't lost my mind,
I have it backed up on disk.

Thelvyn, I'm assuning that you're downloading from the same IP address you posted from. I checked the logs and see several downloads, including some large T3 missions which is why you're over the quota. CrystalClear is 64% of the quota by itself.

Files downloaded in the last 24 hours are considered when counting quota usage.

I know everyone wishes the quota was larger. And I wish bandwidth grew on trees. The release of The Bridge, the obscene size of T3 missions and the continued popularity of T2X forced me to halve the daily quota just to keep some sanity.

I really enjoy playing this mission but I can't

    spoiler:
figure out how to get into the basement to turn off the cameras. I got the key to Andre's room and also the basement key. I checked everywhere and have no idea how to do it. There is a trap door in the storage room on the ground level, but I can't open it.

I am sure I am missing something that is right in front of my nose. LOL.

You need to be brave and sneak into the big foyer that has 3 Watchers (cameras) going. There's a locked metal door opposite a red curtain right underneath one of the Watchers. That is the basement door.

Thanks. It took me only 2 tries to get to the door.

A funny thing happend I was in the middle of knocking out the kitchen servant. The door opens and the guard walks in: "I don't like the looks of that." and keeps on walking. Funny.

Oh dear, I am stuck again...

    spoiler:
How do I get out of the vault? I have found the button but nothing happends. I think it opends the hidden door in the burrick area, but I am not sure. I climbed on the beams and checked up there, but nothing.
    What's with the hood?

    Assassine, there is a
    spoiler:
hidden switch in one of the corners of the vault which opens a secret door up in the rafters. slash the banner and voila.

For some to play this mission you must use darkloader ver, 4.2 I used Garrettloader and it installed the mission. no problems.

I just downloaded and tried this again with garretloader and it crashes to desktop when I press continue after about 5 seconds.
garretloader gave me a message about not being able to play an mp3 when I click play.

This is the second time ive downloaded this for the same thing to happen.
Do I need to use darkloader instead ?
Downloading again. I dont have this problem with any other missions.
I will try with darkloader first this time.
And FAILED! Oops I have dl 4.1
Didnt realize there WAS a 4.2

Ok got 4.2 and all is good.
Are their any other FMS that do not work in garretloader ?
I was going to uninstall darkloader but im glad I didnt.

Thelvyn, this mission played fine with Garrettloader for me. I don't have Darkloader 4.2 installed.

Ok I just checked, AFTER loading it via darkloader 4.2 it worked fine with garretloader.
I had a backup, renamed the one I just played with, copied the backup(original as downloaded) into my t2 fm dir.
Tried it with garretloader and garretloader pops up a message box that says
    via shift-insert then paste
    ---------------------------
    GarrettLoader
    ---------------------------
    Can't play MP3 file
    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------

Run the mission and it crashes.
Apparently darkloader is converting the mp3 file and then garretloader can install it fine.

Maybe I am missing a codec or something ?
But darkloader can handle it so maybe potterr knows why this would happen ?
Just tried ominous bequest and it does the same thing.
I am sticking to darkloader except for tds for now. I downloaded that mission 4 times(3 from your site) thinking it was a bad download and it was garretloader

    @ Thelvyn:

MH.TheFreak and I have used wav-and ogg-files which can only be handled by darkloader 4.2.

Dainem, GL 1.31 and up can also handle ogg files (it can actually handle MP3/MP2/MP1/OGG/WAV/AIFF files although only ogg,wav and MP3 are set up). I have not yet tried this FM but I will give it a go over the week and see why its not picking up the ogg files correctly, possibly due to the file headers.
