hehehe, since she did never ever comment on her post back then, I don't expect her to post now.
I made two posts over on the official 2K forum about whether the PC version would be getting downloadable plasmids and achievements on Games for Windows Live (there have been rumors about both being supported now), and Elizabeth has never responded. If there was no truth to those rumors, I think she would have quickly denied them.

So it gives me some hope. I just hate being kept in the dark like this, is all.

They have said that they won't be a demo. So if they release a demo, it would be a "surprise". Atleast that is how my two little brain cells have imagined it to be/hoped.

I very much hope that's the case.

It will be 'tonight' in America, so I would surmise GMT-5 or GMT-8. If you're in Europe I would suggest going to sleep and looking it up tomorrow morning

Yeah, it's already Monday here, so I'm going to sleep and check these news out later today. But hey, I'm one of the few who can already say that Bioshock will hit stores next week.

    Our eyes are oooopen

I think a demo is a great idea, if for no other reason that anyone who seems to touch this game becomes a believer... in... in a way isn't this a bit like The Many? o_O

Any day now I expect to hear someone on a podcast saying "Our eyes are open" in the creepy Hybrid way =P

Some people think the release is going to bump up a week...I doubt that but my local GameStop where I used to work is getting copies Tuesday (14th), and I just so happen to know everyone working there still

I think I'd prefer the release to be bumped up over a demo, but honestly I'm expecting this to be a demo. I'll be pleasantly surprised if the release date is pushed forward.

Well I missed it, but the announcement is going to be during a commercial of "The Kill Point" (name might be wrong) on Spike TV tonight at 8pm / 9pm, so whenever that show is over, we'll know.

I wonder if it's something totally out there like a BioShock movie or TV show or something. I can't see what they'd make an on-air announcement about other than something semi-huge and not obvious, like multiplayer content, downloadable content, demo... the only other thing could be an immediate follow-on game or perhaps a completely multiplayer game, or something.

    Bizarre.

Launch trailer is on gametrailers. Kinda corny and "mainstreamy". In other words, it's perfect for SpikeTV.

The surprise announcement is the demo downloadable on the X-Box marketplace. Going to grab it now.

Okay so it's a demo... where do we download it?

The BioShock demo, announced after the world premiere of the BioShock launch trailer on Spike TV, has just now gone live on Marketplace. Boot up your 360s and get downloading. Rapture awaits.

For those of you who are looking for a BioShock demo on the PC, it is in the works and will be out later this month. I'll give you more details about it tomorrow

    Nothing for real gamers, though.

Wow, an underwhelming surprise and snub to half the potential market rolled into one! 2K really know how to market!

However, I just saw Elizabeth post "it's coming" with regards to the PC demo elsewhere.
