I haven't been terribly impressed by the stacking characterists of artifacts. Carrying multiple endurance and/or health artifacts never seems to provide any benefit over just carrying one. At least the anti-rad ones stack.
The artifact choice in that first screenie shows a clear suicidal tendency. Going into sniper-infested Pripyat and giving yourself -28% in bulletproof cap is bold, to say the least (I particularly like the detail of wearing three artifacts that will remove 30% of your protection against bullets, but then caring to wear a Jellyfish, in order to improve that protection by 2%)![]()

Health related artifacts don't increase your hit points, but your hit point recovery when injured. Using three soul artifacts I can heal myself up to full from near-death in under a minute. As for endurance, one moonlight is generally enough for basic sprinting about, but if you have two your endurance never drops unless you bunny hop from one side of the map to the other. Extra endurance also helps if you're overloaded but still want to get about quickly.
But yeah, on the whole, stacking is more for specialised stuff as opposed to standard equip.
I don't fear me no radiation. I'll just wander up and check the view.

The Meat Chunks do have a healing ability - as driver said, they will increase your recovery rate. But it's better to wear them after you get hurt, at a time when you're not being shot at. Their description is somewhat misleading, as it just says 'Health +400%', so one might thing that by wearing them one gets four times more hit points, when in fact what it does is speed up hit point regeneration by 4x. Wearing them while in a firefight makes no sense, as you'll never be able to recover your health faster than what you lose by being hit, especially with the reduced bullet protection that those artifacts cause.
And ZB, you must be doing something wrong if you can't notice the combined effects of carrying multiple artifacts. Two Moonlights and you run forever. I'm currently having fun in Pripyat, ant with an Exoskeleton and four +5% bulletproof cap artifacts I'm almost a walking panzer.
Just equip one Moonshine and check how long you can sprint, then eqiup 2 or better 3 and you'll see they stack pretty well2-3 Moonshines may be a good idea sometimes, especially when you are overloaded.

Well I did find a constatly equipped Soul REALLY helped at later stages of the game when I had good armour and its negative side effects became more or less negligible. I just didn't have to carry tons of medkids when it was euipped (and medkids are quite heavy). The Meat Chunks do have a healing ability - as driver said, they will increase your recovery rate. It's still better to have the Soul in your inventory, and wear it only when necessary. That's what I do. I always carry two Souls with me to the later stages of the game, and I also don't care too much about medkits (I never have more than two). No matter how good your armour is, -10% is still a lot to be negligible.
Soul is nice, but it's slow. During some of the more intense firefights I go through medkits like candy.
Wow, thanks for the Info guys. I didnīt know that. So, I started to collect some artifacts yesterday and store them temporarily. Yeah, I know I could have used stashes, but I liked the way they were jumping around

are you using the lowest texture settings or is stalker buggering itself?
It appears to be a global lighting glitch. The stripes only appear on surfaces facing the sun.

Yep, a model of monolith.Worshipping Trash?
It's better if you look up at it (and that was a damn cool moment creeping into there)
what the....?
On my 0870876th run through I encountered this. Got sucked in and spat out miles away into a heavily radiated spot, thank you. Never seen it before.
Mods yes, alive and UHSF....
well it looks a lot like the teleporter anomalies in chernobyl NPP. I'm guessing one of the mods put it there.

Anyone else playing with the recently released english AMK?
On my way back to the Bar area I was greeted by this pack of about 20 dogs and pseudodogs. There were a couple of Snorks and a bunch of rats as well.
After chucking a couple of grenades at them, I found out that standing on some pipes above an Electro anomaly would cause them to run around beneath me, killing themselves in the anomaly.
Patch 1.004 sure causes interesting things sometimes![]()
Yep, I love 1.004 post-Lab16 Wild TerritoryWhen I played the game last time after a certain practice doing many side quests there as well as having got proper equipment, I started to feel myself there almost like at home, even with all those monsters around. Even learned location and usual behaviour pattern of each group of monsters there. But from the start it semeed to me as total chaos, and the only wish was to run away as fast as I could

The worst surprise that 1.0004 brought me in the Wild Territories was when I was returning to the Bar area after visiting it for the first time and saving Kruglov. When I was almost leaving, from the Bar passage appeared one or two packs of blind dogs, several rats, some three Pseudodogs, maybe three or four Snorks, a couple of Bloodsuckers, and even a group of bandits (which were promptly killed by the beasts). I ran away towards the Duty camp nearby, but the beasts also killed all five or six dutiers, so I had a really rough time surviving.
That happened in my game me too![]()
now there's an anomaly...
