Usually his partner ends up dying or(because of the darkness) I end up shooting him by accident. It took me about 4 or 5 attempts to get it right.
The HUD thing isn't by choice, it's part of my armour and part of the OL mod and I wanted extra protection which means taking the gas mask version. It's not so bad, I got used to it after a while.
I know it's part of OL(It's part of AMK too) but seriously, I'd rather be still wearing the Merc suit than have that black goo in the middle of the screen.

You can turn that off, you know. It's under "AMK Options" on OL's main menu. I think the option is something like "Dynamic HUD with breath effects;" I always deselect it. No black goo for me. I'm using OL 2.2, so I don't know about older versions.

Some of the costumes are really good. Although I had to laugh at one; obviously making a good Seva suit would be hard so they just stuck a bucket on some guy's head.

I love it. It's nowhere near as eye-gougingly gorgeous as Complete but it's got a lot of style and fits Zone really really well.
And it really makes you appreciate the clear weather when it happens.
Nice pics, Koki. While I sometimes get frustrated with the gameplay in the Stalker games, it's the atmosphere that keeps bringing me back. There are few games that manage to evoke a place and mood as successfully as this series.
