    Deus Ex 3 confirmed

Seeing the deus ex forums are almost dead silent, I thought I should post it here. It's now official.

    Neat. Looks like fun.

The next two or so years of following the game's development and moderating DX forums that is... not actually playing the game.

So anyone know who's at Eidos Montreal and what they've done in the past?

Mobygames doesn't have anything on this Stéphane dude. I think he's made up.

    They've done nothing yet. It's a new office/team.

I couldn't take another half-baked follow-up like Invisible War. Please let this be more like the original! I'm begging you guys at Eidos!

So... it's 80 people fresh out of Game Developer Academy? I know it's a new team but that doesn't automatically mean that the individual members haven't worked in the biz before. I'm asking if anyone knows where and on what.

Don't see how this can be anything but good news. On my worst day, I would rather have SOMETHING than nothing at all...

Warrior Within, eh. I hope he wasn't the one responsible for inflicting us with the gothic makeover in that game. Because if he was, goodness knows what could become of a well-established fiction like Deus Ex.

Funnily(?) enough, each of those games could arguably be considered the worst of their series'.

To be fair though, he also worked on Two Thrones and SC: Chaos Theory. Chaos Theory is easily the best Splinter Cell game, Two Thrones ain't too shabby either.

    Nonononono.

NMA are a bunch of foaming mouth, Fallout Taliban, irrational zealots who are living ten years in past.

We on the other hand live only seven years in the past, and defend the real true faith from the wanton depredations of the heretical and paganistic unwashed masses of the general gaming public.

    Huge difference.

We are nothing compared to NMA.

Some day, once we've endured Deus Ex: Tactics, Deus Ex: Brotherhood of Nanites, Deux Ex: Obscure President, and Todd Howard's Deus Ex, then we shall be worthy of foaming, frothing, and seeing goats like the poor, persecuted mouthbreathers of NMA.

Good thing they reconfigured Project Snowblind, is all I can say.
