T2 mission by SlyFoxx: Unnecessary Risk (Nov. 29/2007)

SlyFoxx enters the auditorium and approaches the podium. The crowd falls deathly silent in anticipation of the announcement to come.

After nearly two years of procrastination and work on another project I'm pleased to announce that the sequel to "A Friend In Need" is indeed finished. (Well, as finished as it's going to get anyway!) pause for much laughter from the audience... It's called "Unnecessary Risk." Garrett finds himself away from the city with plans to yet again relieve Lord Bafford of some of his precious baubles.

Pay attention and listen! As with "A Friend In Need" I suggest that you use as little gear as possible, try and remain undetected and resort to no violence. But for those who must get bloody there is the Too-Easy difficulty.

    Most of all, have fun!

    Any mirrors are much appreciated.

Got it downloaded, but I'm getting this error message after the Difficulty selection screen when I click the mission title to continue:
The instruction at "0x73f1250e" referenced memory at "0x00000013". The memory could not be "read".

I'll redownload and try again, but I have to wait before Rapidshare will let me download it again.

@ Schwaa....I didn't work on it for two years. My major project took up most of that time. This one was more like a solid month 16 months ago and a solid recent month. I had just promised a sequel so here it is.

Damn dude ! If I ever become rich, can I hire you as an interior decorator/architect ? Baffords Bone Collection was always one of my favorite contest missions. I was thinking to myself "This is Cozy". And now you've one up'ed it ! Nice work. And Garrett sings ! "That" wasn't so nice ....boy did that catch me off guard..
Now I'd better get back to lootin

    spoiler:
I found the secret room and another secret place within but a key to the secret wine cabinet out by the bathroom would be nice
    Any hints ?

    Nevermind......

You know I could have fixed it so you couldn't do that. NV pointed that out but I say...let 'em use force if they want to.

You guys have it easy. When I tested it, expert still had fail-on-sight set!

Of course he did other things to make it tougher after he took that away.

Had lots of fun with this one. Looks like Bafford didn't need to marry Ashton's daughter after all. Nice woody trees. The burricks proved to be an easy walk through. Never did find a certain key and came up 135 short of the total optional bonus. Felt somewhat sorry for the guards after hearing what happened to the last bunch at the manor ... maybe we'll get to hear all about it in the sequel. Thanks.

    Nice mission!
But I've only got 1500 loot! I haven't found the secret room mentioned in this thread. Could I have a hint please? Is the rest of the loot in there?
I also only got 3 out of 16 pockets to be picked! All the AI's are accounted for as far I can see, so where are the rest of the "pockets"?

Doesn't that isolated chimney sticking out the ground in the garden strike you as odd?

How could I get ower this rocky place?

I am on the top of the rocks, there id a weirdly grown tree out of the wall, with a rope hanging out of it. But from that rope, I can't jump on the ledge.

    What to do?

    thanks, ticky
