1596) It irritates you that Gonzo did not number his clue on this sacred thread

1596) You reassure Gonzo that there will be a new FM out soon

Gonzo, there will be a new FM out soon. Plot ideas etc by me, Dromediting (i.e. all the hard work ) by Keeper Kungpaó.

Until then, feel free to read my newish fanfic at http://www.thief-thecircle.com/fanworks/tales/35.asp

1597) You shamelessly place links to your new fanfic everywhere...

MDMCVII) You wish there was a Latin version of Thief

1601)You have shamelessly posted your mission pics all over this forum. And I did

1602)You reassure Gonzo that your FM will be out before Christmas. Of course that's what I've been saying for almost 2 years. AHHHHHhhhhh!

1603) You decide to completely change the 1st grade learning books. Insted of circles, squares, etc. You want them to learn:
Cube, Cylinder, Pyramid, Corner-Apex Pyramid, Wedge, and Dodecahedron.

1604)Your child's first word is, "taffer"

1605)You can't wake up in the morning without a tall cup of shroom tea

1607.) You look at that picture above, raise your eyebrows, and ask aloud "you call this a good stack of crates? With 9 crates you can stack higher than that!"

sighMy crate stacking skills need improvement. Not really, but no matter.

1608) You once stacked all the crates in The City in Assassins in one place, and climbed so high you reached the sky

Usually, crates can be stacked thus:

    @
    @
    @
    @
    @

without crates to support them, thus:

    @
    @@
    @@@
    @@@@
    @@@@@

if you are careful. Or, you do like Sharga and do this:

    @
    @ @ @
    @@ @ @@@ @ @@ @

1609) You draw lots of ASCII diagrams to show the various methods of stacking crates, a skill which you consider an art form.

1610) You stack other objects, and have even been reduced to stacking healing potions, when you have nothing better to stack and really need that extra foot of hight in order to mantle onto that ledge

Sharga: Some objects can be stacked and stood on, some can't. Bottles can be stacked in TDP and TG, but I think not in TMA. Cheese is an amusing thing to stack, since it is possible to hop onto your stack and then eat the cheeses one by one from the bottom, so that Garrett is lowered slowly to the floor

1612) You realise you've spent far too much time experimenting in various methods of crazy roof-hopping

1613) You have now perfected the art of leaping from the top of the temple roof in Undercover in such a manner that Garrett lands face upwards between the two Hammerites. Then you are amazed that the Hammerites make not a move to help their brethren who has just fallen from the roof, but when instead you hear the words: "Some do say the Baron means to raise the tariffs again, even on greens, and meat." you decide that the Hammerites really don't like Novices, and it's no wonder that their popularity has decreased.

1614) You have read all the appropriate theses regarding the Order of the Hammer and conclude that the Hammerites really don't like Novices, and it's no wonder that their popularity has decreased.

WOW! I never knew that! Sweet.

1615) You spend countless hours playing with cheese. Then you decide to make Garrett start with 25 cheeses in your mission so he can climb a wall to a secret place!

1616) You use the word "taffer" so much that your friends start to use it too, despite having never played Thief

1617) It makes you very happy to notice how the insidious vocabulary is creeping in...

In fact, I actually joined TTLG in February of 1999, specifically for the purpose of being able to contribute to this list. Which I did. That was four days after this thread was started.

I think it's pretty cool that the first thread I contributed to was born only four days before my profile, and is still active, two years later.
