So you all know, the Burglary in this pack is quite similar to the revamped T2 version that John released a couple of years ago, and Spooky Interlude (fka Shadows of the Past) is AFAIK unchanged from the SSR Contest version. However, Quick Cash has gotten a complete facelift, and while it's a pretty small mission it's definitely worth replaying! Burglary is one of the best Hammer missions out there too, so if it's been a while, treat yourself to a replay of it too!

Thanks a lot for this wonderful pimped versions. BiB is a classic and always worth a replay. Also the other 2 missions, which are 2 creepy quickies.

Great idea, to re-release them with improved graphics ( and sounds!? ).

It helps gettin' over these hard times...

I LOVED this mission when I played it recently. The music, all the pews filled with hammerites, I must of stood at the back of the church and just watched the whole scene for a minute, in awe. Attention to detail, the lighting.
Sometimes I got the feeling I was playing an original mission. I swear he took, or did scenes straight out of Undercover, only he did them better. I truly loved playing this mission. Best hammerite mission for me.

BiB is certainly a classic. I'm glad to see this group released with a revamp. Cheers to Dark Assassin!!

Heh, I heard from DA while we were testing this pack that IoI 1&2 is the FM set that s/he will probably put the most effort into changing.

Another very nice "re-vamping", Dark Assassin; I thought the texturing in BiB made the complex seem more realistic & its slight oversizing less noticable.

But, like in "A Brawl In The Tombs" there seemed to be less AI than I remember (or else my memory's slipping more than i thought )
Not a criticism, just an observation.

I think DA said s/he had to remove a few AI from Brawl because with all the new AI, objects and higher res textures there were some minor performance issues with all the AI, so a few places had to be scaled back.

    Wondering if...

it's possible to just have the newer ver. of "Burglery" to be availabile as a single download at KOMAG's site, for example as with this computer I'm on dialup and 48+Mgs. is a bit too much...please? Thanks if you can/will do this.

Shadows (Interlude) was a SSR Contest mission, which means removing it will save maybe 100k. QC is also very small, so even if someone were to strip out Burglary by itself you'd probably still be looking at 44-45MB. Actually, the T2 version of Burglary that John did himself a couple of years ago is also 48MB, so I'd say you'd be no better off.
