    Immortal Defense pay-what-you-want sale

I was about to get it on general principle, when I remembered that I don't actually want to play this game :)

Several people reviewed it favourably, though. If you enjoy Tower Defence games, it should be well worth getting.

edit: You can also grab the soundtrack online, so I figure if I like that, I'll get the game after all.

    Crayon Physics Deluxe

'Pay what you want' birthday sale for Crayon Physics Deluxe.

    (Thanks, Blue's.)

I thoroughly recommend picking this up, although be aware that it's the kind of game where you get out of it what you put in -- there are very few screens that you can't 'solve' in really trivial ways, so it's really up to you to have fun with the mechanics. You shouldn't pass it up, though.

As with World of Goo, I plan to buy copies for friends as well. (Although unlike WoG it looks like it's Windows only, which restricts that plan somewhat...)

So, I am looking to trade a brand-new copy of Call of Duty: World at War (PC-DVD). I prefer not to sell it, I think a trade would work better for everyone. A Steam gifting is fine, and I'll send it to you first and allow you to let me know you got it and are happy before you do your end, if you are paranoid of getting ripped off. It, of course, has an unused cd-key for multi-player. I am very flexible here. The game itself, rather than how much it costs, is more important to me. I have several titles I am looking for atm.

I tried to install it ONCE, and found out that it won't work AT ALL on my onboard sound. It, and COD 4: MW require setting it to 24-bit. No way, that I know of, to do that on XP, and I sure as heck am not going to install my copy of Vista for one game.

    Anyone interested PM me.

Zombie Cow and 2D Boy certainly seem to have started a bit of a trend!

Retro arcade platformer Quak has a pay-what-you-want sale. Ends Friday 22nd Jan (not earlier than 00:00 GMT, presumably, but it's not clear exactly how far into Friday it extends).

Author Jamie Woodhouse also commented on RPS:

Okay, for all you PayPal haters out there!.. ;)

Send me an E-Mail, and I’ll send you a FREE copy. Only catch is; you have to make a donation to a charity of your own choice, to whatever amount you feel the game is worth. I’ll trust ya!

Playstation Network is having a half-off sale on 10 PSN titles.

    From the playstation blog:

    PS3 Games:

Gravity Crash (now $4.99, original price $9.99)
ZEN Pinball (now $4.99, original price $9.99)
Critter Crunch (now $3.49, original price $6.99)
Braid (now $7.49, original price $14.99)
Burn Zombie Burn (now $4.99, original price $9.99)
Tank Battles (now $3.49, original price $6.99)
Uno (now $3.99, original price $7.99)

    PSP Games:

Savage Moon: The Hera Campaign (now $4.99, original price $9.99)
Crystal Defenders PSP (now $4.99, original price $9.99)
Creature Defense (now $3.99, original price $7.99)
Kurulin Fusion (now $2.49, original price $4.99)
Thexder Neo (now $4.99, original price $9.99)

It's valid until Jan 27 (Wed).

Yes, I know that's more than 10, I believe the last two PS3 titles are just "normally" on sale and not part of the 10 for '10 sale.

I picked up Gravity Crash, Zen Pinball, Critter Crunch & Braid.

(Cheap enough that it's completely free if you bought from D2D during the holiday sales, courtesy of the surprise store credit afterwards!)
