    Thank You

Russ, you're the man! I will send you the scripts. No major rush on the turnaround. I am actually reading up on conversations tonight since I only do this every few years, I need to refresh my brain.

    Thanks for your help!

I imagine you're using the Hammer Mission Development Kit among your resources, and as it happens I voiced Hammer 7 (idles, reactions, combat, etc). So I can voice the lines for whichever Hammer to whom you assigned the Hammer 7 voice.

PS: It's good to see the band back together again.

Random_Taffer says he will voice the Male Servant, and also one of the Hammer Novices to add diversity to the Hammer voices, so send me the lines for all of those.

Yandros, I will send the files to you via email.
Don, I will send you a private message.

Any suggestions for the 2 female servant parts?

    Thanks
    bbb

I could try one of the female servants if you don't have anyone yet.

There aren't many female voice actors around these days. Pukey, you may get a lot of voice requests!

Anyone needs a crappy, non-talented Southern Alabama accented hack job, I can do those with aplomb. Don't have any dedicated sound recording equipment, so it probably wouldn't be the best quality either..

hello, I'm an available voice actor.
Only did it once for a character in Les Paolis By Cardia, and I'm eager to try again.

Welcome Ramone. As perhaps the forum's most senior voice actor I hope something comes along soon.

Hi, I am making myself available for voice acting, my voice is quite flexible and would be honored to be of help.

    VOICES
It's been said that I can impersonate Karras very well: -> https://bit.ly/3qo6t9d
I also do a male Pagan voice or even monkey beasts sounds: -> https://bit.ly/3lvTQpe
All I need is a decent script and sufficient time to practice as I am a perfectionist.

    Experience
I've been playing Thief ll: The Metal Age and up to about 800 T2 Fan Missions since 2005 up till now.
I became a streamer on Twitch.TV in October 2016 and as of today's date, I have well over 2000hrs of Thief 2 airtime on
    on my channel. -> https://twitchtracker.com/rickmcknight/games

I often mimic several voices from the game as I entertain my viewers on LIVE stream.
I've never thought of applying anywhere before for voice acting until several people from my Twitch community
said that I should apply, of course it would be an honor to be picked for some of the voiced mentioned above, mainly Karras!

    GEAR
YAMAHA MG10XU 10-channel mixing console with 24 built-in digital effects
MXL 770 Cardioid Condenser Microphone & Voice RTX

    CONTACT
You can contact me either via email or DM
You can also send me a whisper on Twitch
My Discord is also another great option -> https://discord.gg/XeDqAJZ

    Availability
I stream mainly Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday evenings seasonally from October - May approx.

    SPECIAL CREDITS
I sincerely would like to thank my amazing Taffer community for their amazing support!
And a special thanks to BrokenArts who promoted me on TTLG and contributed so much to countless FM's.
The lovely Lady Wynne who has inspired me to be true to myself.
Last but not least, FenPhoenix who's voice acting in several fan missions was influential.

Welcome Rick! You're now included in the list on the first page. You can update your existing post whenever you wish. See the part For (potential) voice actors under the list for more tips and functionalities, in case you haven't yet. I hope you'll get your first voice acting task soon.

To everyone else who signed up here for voice acting in the past years: I've been sloppy with updating this thread . In case you're still available, please send me a PM or email and I'll include you asap.

You can keep my name on the list, I don't mind. Just want to caution everyone that I am not the most rapid of responders to any situation or project, and I might need some extra time. My biggest issue is just finding time to sit down and do it, and also that time has to be when nothing else is going on in the house so there's no background noise. I am always inundated with noise in my household, and don't have a separate room to record in, as there is a TV going in my house within earshot of my computer desk/area pretty much most of the day, and a full house of people.

With that being said, I should be able to isolate a 5 minute window easily enough, no problem, so I'm willing to try.

Also, I hate my voice, hate hearing it, don't like the sound of it. But, I can change it drastically from deep to high,to nasally, to "grander" easily enough. Not going to win any awards by any means, but I used to make up voices for my kids when I would read to them, or when just cutting up, and they were always thrilled with the range I could give. I'm a terrible impersonator, but I can make up a lot of whacky or goofy stuff quite readily. :-) I can even do fairly creepy / scary voices if needed. I can even do a pretty convincing crazed, cackling old crone fairly convincingly..

I did the hermit's voice in Schwaa's "Relic – Left for Dead" while I had a terrible sore throat, but it was perfect for the character, he said. :-) I thought it was pretty terrible, but he loved it, so he kept it in.

Prefer small parts. So, definitely no BIG parts, and nothing too "critical", and I'm in. I can do lots of different things of an overly-bombastic nature, but anything serious would suffer, if that makes sense. I think it's called "overacting" but I'm not a professional, so I don't know the right terminology for these things.

I only have a gaming headset to record audio with, but it's a SteelSeries Arctis 7 so it's decent quality. I've just never actually tried it in the year+ that I've owned it.

Oh, and you can't hurt my feelings, so I don't want anyone to feel 'obligated' to use anything I send them. It won't hurt my feelings at all if it's not what you want. I can handle criticism with ease. I might give you a sadface :-( but that's about it.

..and after about the twelfth editing of this post, I now realize I probably need to record a selection of voices I can do and put them up somewhere. Probably only take me about a year to put together.

    Update

    Hi everyone,

Over the past months some mutations have been made in the voice acting list on page 1. Here is a list of changes.

    New voice actors
Hit Deity, malasdair, Ramone, RickMcKnight and Supremcee joined the team of (male) voice actors. Clicking the link behind their names leads you to the post with info they created in this thread. It let's you familiarize with their experience, type of voice, availability, among other things

    Removed voice actors
Gore_Torn and Elentari have been crossed out as voice actor. It's unsure wether they actually retired, but I haven't been able to reach them to check. Unless the come forward on short notice to tell they're still available, they will ultimately be removed from the list completely.
I removed MsLedd's mention due to her sad passing a few years ago.

    Updated descriptions
Some of the texts under 'For those looking for voice actors' and 'For (potential) voice actors' are rewritten.

I should like to throw my cap into the ring!

    Sex: Yes, please.
Type of Voice: British/Irish, deep and fruity (can lighten to suit taste).
    Languages: English/foul and abusive.
Experience: I once had to impersonate a Vicar at a Charity Mud Wrestling event, I have, however, no FM experience.
Availability: I'm yours anytime, be gentle. GMT, however, and I use celsius, spell colour with a U, and pronounce "research" they way it supposed to be pronounced.

My show reel is a little rough 'bout the edges, a bit like it's creator really.
If you like what you hear you can contact me via PM on these very fora.
    Demo Showreel
Edit: I'm not impersonating any original OM voices in this, Hammer voices are alternatives.
