Erluk - Yes. It's another small optional quest that you can figure out if you read carefully while playing.
Is there any place to use the bellows?
Erluk - Yes. It's another small optional quest that you can figure out if you read carefully while playing.
Yes, there is.
Go to the museum and take a look at the exhibits. If you're still puzzled, go to Sheila's office (where the storm lamp is), and read the note on the desk.
What word I must enter here?
clearing You need to look for a card on the flowers in the Museum Director's house. It has his wife's name on it.
ok i made the 'swap' but i accidentally i setted off the alarm system, the alarms sounds now and i put back all the security system back to the 'normality' but the objective: reactivate the security measures didn't check off... what i wrong ?
Thanks, Nightwalker![]()
Thanx Nightwalker - taking that trip now.
Like Sterlino I'm puzzled by the statue switch problem. I have been to the top so can switch off there and down the bottom to the slider switch - whichever order I do it in same problem - alarm goes off and the objective is not switched off. Also what's with the button and the 2 flaps in the animal exhibit? Do I need to turn off the red light gate somehow?
This game is definately worth the trouble![]()
Draigcoch You need to get into a secret room in the Museum Director's office and deactivate part of the security system from there. After that you need to deactivate the devices in the attic and in the basement (Behind the door near the red-security beam gate.)
Sterlino & Draigcoch:spoiler:It looks like you both forgot to disable the blue security rays. As the security report states, these rays need to be deactivated before you deactivate the red energy field, or the alarm will sound.
To deactivate the blue rays, you need to enter the director's office and get through the steel door in there.
If you triggered the alarm by disabling the red energy field without deactivating the blue rays first, then they were disabled automatically.
To put the alarm system back in place, you need to turn the red energy field back on and then reactivate the blue rays (again in the director's office). That will tick off the objective.
Draigcoch: The two flaps are important for something else in the museum. Hint: It's something that wanders through air vents.
Weeeeeeeeee![]()
ahh the musical puzzle with the victrola as help it was very simple... amazing, amazing, amazing !!![]()
Incredible ending of the first part... i am shocked... Eshaktaar you can easily write down a script for a classic thriller's movie
Incredible stuff, eshaktaar: utterly professional, really absorbing & seems like there's custom stuff everywhere you look!
Could I get hints please in some 'non-essential' aspects before I go on to part 2?
1. How to get to the White Cathedral?
2. Where's Mr Marten?
3. What should you feed into the woodchipper?
And thanx so much for this![]()
Ah, you're both on the right and the wrong track:spoiler:To get into the palace you need to spell the First Emperor's name (it says so in the scroll labeled "Getting into the Palace"). The name can be found in a scroll in the temple or on a stone tablet in the city archive.
The scroll about entering the palace also says there's another combination for the treasury. I think that's the one you were trying to enter.
Sticky Fingers:
A little general hint: If you've played Ominous Bequest, you should remember that missions might not always end when you think they do.
1. You will eventually get there.
2. Have you been in the inventor's tower? He's in there.
3. Wood.Remember a place where you read something about a tree's roots sticking through the basement's ceiling? Go there an take a closer look.
What exactly happens when you frob the lever above the round window over the balcony? I've aimed the staff at it but can't to see what it does or whether I've done it or not.![]()
Always the way - you get it straight after you post.

If you hit the switch, something should open to your left. The opening mechanism should be loud enough for you to hear it.
Yes, thank you - got there eventually with the aid of a few crates!
I wish it wasn't Monday tomorrow - perhaps a 'sick' day is in order.
Only for an Eshaktaar fm would I spend half an hour to produce a handful of sawdust without a clue of what I want it for.

Thanx, eshaktaar - so that's who's in the Inventor's Tower? (didn't recognize him).
About White Cathedral query: I'd hoped to find something to use after placing the holy hammer, in the crypts - is there a way of collecting some of that water?
Thanks Esh, I've done the mission! A masterpiece, this is true art!
Almost finished part one - found root and had a drink as well but forgotten where the wood chipper is?
This game is getting creepy - great fun!
If you continue playing you'll discover its purpose later on.
You probably can't at the moment. Just continue playing - who knows, you might suddenly find a way
Draigcoch: The chipper is in the warehouse near Sheila's apartment.
Congratulations on finishing the mission, Pistole2k! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I'm now stumped. I can't go any further without getting into the director's office. And obviously no-one else has had a problem with this. Think I'm brain dead having been playing since 8.00 this morning. But I don't want to stop yet. I know what I have to do but can't find where/how to do it. Expect it will be a doh moment.
Did you search the director's home and find something hidden? That should give you the clue how to enter the office (which is on the top floor of the museum).
