Yeah, Satisfied is great! As for how real or ficticious it is, historians speculate that there might've been something going on between Alexander and Angelica, but no concrete proof has been found, and the musical leaves it up in the air. At the risk of pulling your further down the Hamilton rabbithole, here's a Hamilton podcast interviewing Ron Chernow, who wrote the Hamilton biography that inspired Lin-Manuel Miranda to write the musical. I only mention it because "Satisfied" is Chernow's favourite song from the musical and they discuss it at length in the episode.

Anyway, I'm not sure I could pick a favourite track, but the one that's gotten the most play on my Spotify is "The Schuyler Sisters". When I first listened to the album, that was the one that won me over. It starts off kind of cheesy, but then it just keeps piling on hook after irresistable hook, many of which show up again in later songs(Look around, look around...).

Also if we're gonna keep talking about Hamilton, we should continue this discussion in the musicals thread.

That's the same garage rockers who released Have love will travel in 1965.
In 2015 they released a new album ("This is the Sonics") which surprisingly rocks just as hard as back in the day. Very recommended.

Hehe, nice one. I hope he always wears that shirt and tie, it contrasts so well with the sound.
Here's a track (presumably) taking on current US politics that doesn't suck, by Niko Javan & Michele Wylen: Mental
Download here via soundcloud ("More" button).

Aww guys. Kolya and Neb, these are some good songs. (I particularly liked Shining Bright Star and Music is the Answer) I almost hesitate to post anything in this thread for fear of breaking this perfect streak of sweet tunes.

But I'm feeling pretty confident about what I got here, so here goes...

Thundercat, Michael McDonald, and Kenny Loggins. Showing you the way. The way to the Danger Zone? Naah, this is the way... to the Chill Zone.

That's some heavy 70s vibe. And is that really Kenny singing falsetto? Haha, he's a cool guy.

Here's more garage rock, this time from Thee Oh Sees. It's racing guitar riffs won the competition against a shodanesque Britta Phillips singing about her stalker and Jamiroquai's new cyber hat.

I got another confession to make.

Somebody once told me, to listen to the new Mouth Moods album by Neil Cicierega.

It's been one week, since it came out.

Also, bustin makes me feel good.

Been digging quite a bit at this New Retro Wave thing. Particularly Trevor Something. Got a cool Depeche Mode vibe going on there.

I was thinking of things that I hate to do
    SEX WITH YOUR PARENTS
Things you do to me or I do to you, baby
    SEX WITH YOUR PARENTS

Something fatter or uglier than Rush Rambo
Something more disgusting than Robert Dole
Something pink that climbs out of a hole
And there it was - SEX WITH YOUR PARENTS

I was getting so sick of this right wing republican shit
These ugly old men scared of young tit and dick
So I try to think of something that made me sick
And there it was - SEX WITH YOUR PARENTS

Now these old fucks can steal all they want
And they can go and pass laws saying you can't say what you want
And you can't look at this and you can't look at that
And you can't smoke this and you can't snort that
And me baby - I got statistics - I got stats
These people have been to bed with their parents

Now I know you're shocked but hang and have a brew
If you think about it for a minute you know that it's true
They're ashamed and repelled and they don't know what to do
They've had sex with their parents
When they looked into their lovers eyes they saw - mom
In the name of the family values we must ask whose family
In the name of the family values we must ask - Senator

It's has been reported that you have had
Illegal congress with your mother, - SEX WITH YOUR PARENTS
    ah, Senator
An illegal congress by proxy is a
Pigeon by any other name, - SEX WITH YOUR PARENTS

    Senators you polish a turd
Here in the big city we got a word
For those who would bed their beloved big bird
And make a mockery of our freedoms
Ah, without even using a condom
    Without even saying "no"
By god we have a name for people like that
    It's - hey motherfucker!

I love coming here to find new music I may have missed.. thanks posters ;-)

I'm always drawn to the vintage stuff. Here's an adorable flashback, kinda reminiscent of 60's game shows in a way.. but love Sergio Mendes.

Ah, Sergio Mendes! That's a groove I'll gladly take up. Burt Bacharach would be the obvious choice but I got something a little more out of the way for you.

Kolya, love it! I haven't heard that one before. Makes we want to watch Austin Powers.. mojo baby!

Yandros, that is some lovely ambient. Have/will we hear this in any upcoming mission?

This article nicely sums up the easy listening revival of the mid 90s, in which 70s porn movie soundtrack compilations like the above came up. Austin Powers was just the tip of that iceberg.
