I saw you (and him) walking in the rain..... I've been on an 80s kick lately.
Coil - Red Birds Will Fly Out of the East and Destroy Paris in a Night
(though this link is only half of the song)
I saw you (and him) walking in the rain..... I've been on an 80s kick lately.
13 pages and there's still a typo in the title?
cureently leestening to Broken Social Scene - "shoreline".
Corrosion of Conformity (yeah, generic name I know), drowning in a daydream. Good feel-good southern metal that has been a nice change of late.
I've been listening to a lot of doom metal lately. Particularly the mighty Thergothon. Shame they only have the one album and a demo.
God, I half love and half just like that song. The first verse where the ladies voice comes in is absolutely amazing.. but it kinda loses its way in a bunch of horn stuff by the end.
PS:
What took everyone so long?

I don't know how to switch the wor dof a link for a name, but it's the 4th end to Soul Eater. I like it.
There are some good (to me) anime soundtracks out there, but that song is basically what I hate about anime music (god that southpark was so great).
Currently rocking to: AIC - Grind
If anyone knows better being-sick music I'd like to know what it is. Also I miss early/mid nineties fucked up music videos. Now they have to all be pseudo-political or some shit.
Going for the laid back part of the '90s lately.
I'm cool like that
I know I'm getting lynched for this, but I need something to brighten my day.
Gunther w/ Samantha Fox - Touch Me
I must admit I never expected a remake of that. It was surprisingly good. Her voice has improved with age.
Forgotten Tomb - Love's Burial Ground
Rather brutally depressing, and suprisingly good production for blackened doom metal.
Hey, it's that time of year to listen to depressing crap about bitter winter winds and whatnot.
Felt like listening to some good metal today, so I give unto thee:
DevilDriver - Revelation Machine
Fuckin love me some DevilDriver!
I've seen Devil Driver live when they opened for another band.
They sucked horribly.
Macfarlane Gregory Anthony Mackey
Exuma - Dambala - 1970
You slavers will know
What it’s like to be a slave
Slave to your mind
Slave to your race
You won’t go to heaven
You won’t go to hell
You remain in your graves
With the stench and the smell
Oh Dambala come Dambala
Oh Dambala come Dambala

I've been enjoying them a good bit lately. Not a big fan of the older stuff (pre-deliverance), too punkish for me, but deliverance on has been on random for me lately. I love down too, nola is one of the hardest rocking albums of all time, but I've listened to them a lot more than CoC. "Never turns to more" is great Doesn't hurt they are from my home state (not many NC bands representing).
I'm Broken
Have yet to find a better just-crawled-out-of-bed-song. That opening riff never fails to put a smile on my face.

I hope you've listened to E-Type. Here is his masterpiece from 1996:
Free Like A Flying Demon. Enjoy!
Jesus P Fuck. So that's what it would look like if Robert Plant and Lenny Kravitz accidentally got in the same teleporter.
Incidentally, bit of carnie-ish NME wonk, anyone? Metronomy are ace, particularly Black Eye Burnt Thumb and You Could Easily Have Me
Also been finding myself listening to Florence and The Machine -A Kiss With A Fist a hell of a lot, even though I was thoroughly disappointed to find out she dresses like Kate Nash's older sister.
