"Take on me" from A-ha...Damn i love eighties synth-pop.
The Bug has a great new album called London Zoo, and it's the bassiest, angriest party I've ever been to.

Skull vs Wizard by Times New Viking.
Koki - theres two of those goddamn bands? I thought Arnocorps was more than enough.
wish you were here - Floyd
NO AS IN BUTTS 242
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
JUST KIDDING
Third track from the album When Did Wonderland End? by Der Blutharsch.
'Another White Dash' by Butterfly Boucher.
Black Crow, off Hejira - Joni already flirting with arcane weird jazzness at this point.
But, on the subject of songs, why of WHY, do I remember songs I hate - like, for instance, 'Bye Bye Baby' by the Bay City Rollers....every bloody word.
I didn't say you were. You may just think it's dark and cool in a weird way like Rammstein used to be. But Julius isn't fooling anyone. Not with that music and imagery. His nazi-fans understand perfectly well that he has to put up the facade of an unpolitical artistic expression to get through with his smut against the "media system" and all the other systems they call their enemy. Like democracy, laws of tolerance and equity and against Ausländer like yourself, van Hellsing.
No wonder Blutharsch played one of two German concerts of their last tour in Gotha. An otherwise completely irrelevant shithole of a smalltown, but rife with neonazis.
OK, maybe you do have a point. I don't know much about the man, truth be told, so I gave him the benefit of doubt as I know a few bands that are most definitely using controversial symbolics as pastiche/art provocation/pranks rather than spreading some vicious ideology (Laibach, anyone?)
So, to balance it out, the other austrian band I listen to is EAV
Currently listening to Namaste by Devin Townsend.
Behind the Grey - Paradise Lost
Paradise Lost is my current obsession, such an awesome band
Dandy Warhols - Legend of the Last Outlaw Truckers
I'm not a huge Dandy Warhols fan, but this song is pretty awesome.
Baader-Meinhof - There's Gonna Be An Accident. One-off side project by Luke Haines (of The Auteurs fame), where he makes really sleazy and nasty noir-funk about terrorism.
Goes extremely well after a workday full of annoyances.
Ghost from "In the aeroplane over the sea" weird concept album by Neutral Milk Hotel, though to be honest I could've picked any track. Sounds like Syd Barrett with bagpipes and trombones.
Sounds terrible I know but it's a beaut.
WARM IT UP KRIS
I'M ABOUT TO
