I just saw on FOX news that it is the 20th anniversary of Tienanmen square. Do I get a cookie?

I have been listening to Seasons in the Abyss by Slayer, and The Chronic by Dr. Dre.

Seasons in the Abyss is a classic. Much better than Reign in Blood or South of Heaven IMO.

"Goodbye" by Frank Klepacki, from the Blade Runner video game soundtrack. He really nailed the Blade Runner atmosphere with this track.

    hehehehehe...........

Us boy''s can be strange creatures at times. I was watching a couple of young women fighting over who knows what and all the young men gathered around watching them fight - not trying to break it up. I ask why is no one trying to break up the fight? One guy answered, "Because there is always a chance they could kiss!"

Listening to the German metal band Disillusion, which is um ... well their first album was a progressive metal / melodic death thing and their second was some kind of prog / industrial metal mix. But both are quite awesome IMO, so whatever.
I'm currently listening to that second album, titled 'Gloria'. Here are some samples:

Disillusion - Don't Go Any Further
Disillusion - The Hole We Are In

And here are two samples from their first album 'Back To Times Of Splendor'
Disillusion - And The Mirror Cracked
    Disillusion - Fall

Aw, I thought you were listening to this instead, howie.

Soft rock of that calibre especially after I just spent the Sunday chugging down some brewskis and discussing retro rock with mates just doesn't jive you know

I've been listening to a shitload of movie and tv soundtracks recently; top of my list are:

Transformers Score (the Michael Bay movie - pretty epic music)

Dark Knight 2 CD Special - fucking awesome movie score

BattleStar Galactica Seasons 1 to 3 OST - the final track on the season 3 disk "All Along The Watchtower" is possibly one of the best tracks i've ever had the pleasure of listening to.

    Ceramic Dog - Digital Handshake

I'm really glad that I've found this vid, because this song works life so much better than on CD (or maybe I'm just living in a happy flashback right now).

Listening to the 'Crank 2: High Voltage OST' by Mike Patton. It's quite good IMO.

Have you heard the "Walk The Line" soundtrack, with Joaquin Phoenix (before he went batshit and/or Andy Kaufman on us) and Reese Witherspoon? I'm a huge fan of Cash, and was blown away by their performance. A real homage to Cash's legacy.

Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits.

It's perfect. In every way. We're not really worthy of music this good.

Yeah, that was my other point of entry on this album besides "Two Weeks." "Ready, Able" just clicked last night, and the rest of the disc seems to be falling in line
