Christopher Lee (Saruman/Count Dooku) just released a metal album, Charlemange: The Omens of Death.

Some of Brian Chippendale (drummer from Lightning Bolt)'s solo stuff, it's really good! Way less um, mental than Lightning Bolt, but definitely worth a listen.

As someone who likes both The Coup and Patton Oswalt, I'm obligated to post this:

Oh, that's nice Queue. Like it.

I started watching Vikings the other day and I really liked the title track. Looked it up, here it is. Fever Ray (who is one half of The Knife):

I'm not completely convinced by the vocals on the new NIN tune, but I love the music.

Yeah, I think Trent's voice is a bit worn out - you can see it from any of their recent live stuff. An obvious eventuality given all of the screaming. The track does have a certain something though - very hypnotic.

Saw this guy do live beatboxing at a festival in London. It was impressive and nothing like this song.
Nevertheless, I really like the production.

I found a minimalist jazz band which really hits the spot called Nik Bartsch's Ronin. Supposedly, they borrow from ritual music mixed in with a bit of funk, and it works. I'm impressed with what I've heard.

(Music kicks in around 1:00. At around 4:50 it kicks up a few notches and all I can see is a snake. A really cool snake.)

Oh man! I haven't heard this in years, and a classic rock station in Flint just played it.

Fucking late 70's early 80s April Wine...great stuff for those who love old-style Arena Rock. And Canadians.
