CTEC Mission - The Plot Thickens

Guess I'l do my part to make sure each mission has its own separate thread...

Anyway, I'm stuck in the very first Act. After following the assassins to their destination, I went back into the city to explore a bit. A went underground through the canal lid located right close to the mission starting point. I wandered around underground, and came to a peculiar spot. It's a pit with pairs of metal pipes going around the walls, forming a sort of staircase. I went down, followed a small tunnel to a room with three rats, a head and some loot, took the loot. And now I can't get back out. No matter how much I try mantling up at the lowest pipes, I cannot do it. Is there some secret way out (and if so, please tell me where it is), or is it a spot where you are permanently stuck if you don't know in advance that you have to bring a crate?

Arrowgrab: I had to try a couple of times too but it is possible to mantle out of there. You just have to find the right position relative to the lowest pipe.

Well, I could only do it by restarting the mission bringing down two crates and jumping off of those.

Anyway, I might sound ridiculous, but I also found something strange. Down in the sewers, there's a large grate closing down the passageway, with a switch on the wall next to it, and a grey cable / pipe leading from the switch to the grate. I guess the switch should lift the grate, and I guess this is the exit area of the mission, but flipping the switch does nothing.

You need to first find a way to get power to that switch.

Odd question in Act 2. I've found
    spoiler:
the sewer area where two bodies - I'm assuming Donal and Reuben - have been dumped
. There's a small switch that doesn't seem to do anything nearby.

    Any ideas?

Oh, and for the record... these are incredible missions.

Have you looked at the nearby banner lately?

The first missions seems to have a bug with the objectives. As I reached the Thieves Hideout, the objectives told me to use the underground to infiltrate the Hideout. But first I went to "Farkus" shop to collect everything i missed. I grabbed everything I could get. Then I went to the sewers, listened to the conversation an once again the objecztive changed. I had to visit again the shop to collect everything useful for revenge. As I reached the shop ( i was again) in there, the mission was succesfully finished.

Once you complete the objective to find an underground way to the hideout the mission will end when you go back to the shop. Taking revenge is an optional objective so if you want to complete that objective you have to do it before going back to the shop.

There is no blackjack in Act 1 but there are plenty of water arrows.

Now I'm stuck in Act 3. I've taffed around, seen most of the place, and eventually found the replacement for the square lockpick. However, most of the closed doors and chests also need the triangular pick, and I'm totally unable to find it.

So my question is: where is the replacement for the triangular picK?
And my next question is likely going to be "and how do I find that location and get in there, since I've already been to every single room and place that I could find and access?"

Arrowgrab - Go to the staircase next to the dining room, go up the stairs to the level with the bedrooms/bunkrooms. In one of the bedrooms on the table you will find the replacement lockpick.

I'll try to describe where it is: Coming up from the dungeon you enter the dining hall. Take the right (west) exit from the dining hall. To the south there is an elevator and some stairs. Take these stairs up until you come to the northern exit from the stairs. In this area there is a room with bunk beds. In the left small room at the back there is a secret door (switch right beside it) from there you can enter a couple of rooms. One of these contains the triangular pick.

Oops, Tannar beat me to it.

It seems i'm stuck myself. I have found the Ring of shadows, the Necromancer's Wand and the Evil Skull.

I'm guessing i need to find the catacombs to proceed, but i am completely lost as to where they should be. Please spoil me.

    Small hint: Search the kitchen.

Outright spoiler: Look for a lever under the table edge.

Thanks, but that didn't get me far. I can't figure out how to open the door with all the buttons. I tried all buttons in and all buttons out, but that didn't do anything. What am i missing?

There is a note in the research office that should give you a clue.

Act 2. I have just accomplished the "Go to Donel and Reuben warehouse" objective. Anyway I'm stuck there, it seems that I can't go anywhere, so I will have to return back. I have no idea of where the "Hideout" is. Any help before I return back please?

BTW, I found the 2 corpses too, I slashed the banner, but there's nothing of interest in that area. Am I missing something?

    Thanks.

Lady Rowena, when you went to the warehouse did you go to the elevator?

Uh, I have no excuses...... If I think that I have the rule to ALWAYS look under the elevators!

    Thanks!

Cool 3 levels and congrats to whoever - but got sick of looking for the pick(s) and did check the rooms described above. Guess it's not very Thiefy of me - but I really don't like when FM's that make the player spend a lot of time just to find his tools...but that's just me being lazy I guess...

Edit: nevermind - they lowered the pick distance on the object & thus I thought that wasn't it until I got close enough to it. And clue on where the square one is?
